Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki's main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin's vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver's heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg's wall paintings adorn Stil vor Talent's cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven't brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its 12th installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks. Modul Kollektiv returns to Kittball Records with two percussive dance floor fillers entitled 'Organic'.

Late 2014 Modul Kollektiv release his debut on Dirty Soul before joining up with the Kittball family a year later. Since then he's established a true name for himself within the house/melodic techno music world with various releases on labels Bad Life, Moonbootique, Soundplate Records and MTV Ibiza.
2018 sees him reunite with the Dortmund label after yet another busy year of releases for the crew, which includes works from label bosses Tube & Berger and Juliet Sikora, as well as contributions from Rob Kali, Black Girl/White Girl, Roumex and more.

With its tribal percussion and tranquil pads, 'Organic' spawns a warming atmosphere through smooth textures and uplifting melodies attractively harmonising. Organic is a „back from the jungle" techno/deep house production with tribal great breakdown and an enormous drop. 
Meanwhile, 'Africa' maintains the traditional African styled drum rhythms layered delightfully with undulating synth resonation and sedative nature samples keeping things engaging throughout.

Space meets rhythm on Moonwalks Galactica EP, brimful of intergalactic grooves in the shape of four dance-heavy original tracks. Opener Galactica sets the tone with electric pads and spacious, echo-ridden synths that create a playful yet compelling melody with a highly memorable bassline. Euplea is arguably the most stirring cut of the four, with a whirlwinding pad and incessant bass that emerge from the first bar. Nocturna brings forth equally spatial sounds, arched around a massive build up with a breathtaking drop. Its the perfect drama-infusing track, an ace in the sleeve when deployed at the right timing. Channeling huge drums in a tribal-like ambiance, Endless creates suspense through minimal layers and lofty pads, rounding off the release in a well-timed manner.

Opening with the title track, Outcome and Straub employ crisp militant percussion from the outset, filling the space with a heady and hypnotic motive that sets the tone for this 4-track offering. Industrial hits and an eerie high-pitched synth invade the serenity with purpose and are subsequently mirrored in the break’s bass line for a definitively euphoric experience. Outcome’s solo “Hayal” plays next, featuring all of the unique sound design elements we’ve come to crave from the Croatian outfit. Flaunting groove-inducing percussive rhythms, the duo introduces an ambiguous vocal motif that oozes middle eastern flair. The EPs final original cut “Modular” is another collaborative effort that follows in the footsteps of its predecessors. Laying a foundation of clean, sharp percussion, Outcome and Straub weave soft mechanical detailing and cosmically charged synth riffs into their cut, lulling the listener into a state of sonic bliss. Closing out the EP, Tel Aviv’s Kadosh offers his perspective on “Modular”, crafting an experimental re-work that celebrates the acute intricacies of its counterpart. All 4 chapters of the "Lyra" EP have been tried and tested on John Digweed's Transitions radio show and Bunker Sessions, striking a chord with his dedicated fan base across the globe.

Red Bull Music Academy graduate Habischman has released his lush, stylish and atmospheric techno on labels like Knee Deep In Sound, Moda Black, and SCI+TEC. The deeply emotive 'Senses' opens up and shows the artist's knack for crafting catchy but classy melodies. Here, he layers them over a sleek techno groove that journeys to the stars and eventually meets a second bright and soulful melody line. Once they come together, they begin to sing in harmony and send shivers tingling down your spine as the supple beats roll on. Then comes the gorgeous 'Freefall', which is about an angel who falls in love with someone and both have to leave their own worlds in order to be together. It's a richly detailed and cinematic techno offering that captures a real sense of love- struck longing. The angelic vocals are spellbinding as the beats build and the serene chords wash over you time and time again to teary-eyed effect.

This is a pair of truly artful techno tracks that make an indelible impression.
