We are proud to present Deckert, an incredibly talented artist. Deckert, who in this case is offering a solo release, is part of the Duo Deorbiting. He has been released on labels such as Frau Blau, Moblack, Connected and many others.

His very personal style, stands out from the "standards" we listen to in many tracks nowadays, in fact these two songs immediately captured us.

To complete the release we asked Aaaron (Innervisions, Yoshitoshi, Watergate) to remix one of the songs and the result was exceptional.

Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki's main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin's vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver's heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg's wall paintings adorn Stil vor Talent's cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven't brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its 12th installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks. Exclusive Premiere - Mike Rish - Interlinked

After releases on sister labels MNL and Magnitude Recordings, a couple of well received free downloads + a remix for Namatjira on Manual Music, it's finally time for Eleven Sins to make his official solo EP debut on the label. We're proud to present the 'Playground EP'.

The release kicks off with the infectious and uplifting song 'Grasshopper'. Incredibly funky and a tiny bit quirky, this is definitely a unique one! The title track 'Playground' has that same funk and drive as the opening track, this time with strong ethnic influenced melodies, whilst 'Panda' takes you by surprise with its broken beats and intense tension which has a continuous presence.

Starting 2021 kicking like yer proverbial mule, hot on the heels of The Selador Showcase: The Twelfth Night Part One, we are proud to present, with a characteristic mix of dexterity, alacrity and logic – Part Two! 

Like its predecessor, this second instalment once again puts the spotlight on a whole host of global electronic production talent (2 x welcome returnees, 4 x Selador debutants) and covers a multitude of styles in one essential package.

First, we find hot Russian duo Goom Gum in tandem with Istanbul-based Gaidukova. ‘Freedom’ is a wonderfully constructed riff fest, underpinned by a mean growling bassline. Peak time action.

Next up, the prolific Several Definitions (Switzerland) brings us the magnificent brooding beast that is ‘Boske’. Maximum wonkiness, just how we like it.

UK scene stalwart Kiz Pattison delivers ‘Intruder’ – this particular intrusion is most welcome though as the insistent lead riff burrows its way into the darkest recesses of your cranium. Hold tight.

London-based Rashid Ajami follows renowned for the emotional depth of his productions, and the beautiful ‘The Lie’, in partnership with Dröm, will only help cement that reputation. Proper swish.

Next from Spain, we welcome Martin HERRS & Thimble, whose hypnotic ‘Impala’ is awash with exotic sounds cascading over a pulsating bassline. Deep, unrelenting business. 

And we conclude with Nila, the New Zealand-based Scot adding to his growing stature with Asyn on the yearning vocals for the powerful, instantly inspiring ‘Answers’.

Team Selador: the bestest showcases in town.

The Selador family goes pan-global once again, with our latest continent-spanning release
being the result of a pandemic induced collaboration between Carlos Barbero (Panama)
and Enes Çakir (Turkey), with Germany’s Jepe and Ede (Turkey, currently based in
Germany) on remix duties. All are making their Selador debuts, and we couldn’t be
happier.
Of course, Messrs Seaman & Parry always have ears and eyes permanently open for
forward thinking new music, be it on their DJ travels or during a pandemic – and this single
is proof that we are a label that does listen to demos. Be it via email, Whats App or
Messenger, the Selador is never closed.
Carlos has been building himself quite a reputation in Central America, sharing club and
festival stages with the likes of Re.You, Anja Schneider, Oliver Koletzki whilst Enes runs
the Dawgs Musik company in Istanbul for events and podcasts, and has played alongside
the likes of James Zabiela, Timo Maas – and Dave Seaman. It was a perfect case of
isolation creation when the two hooked up during lockdown to make ‘Wake Up’, inviting
Seher K to add the cherry on top
.
All three interpretations feature Seher’s breathy vocal, pleasingly acidic squelchiness, and
just the right amount of electronic menace.
Carlos and Enes’ Original mix has a metallic sheen, with competing hooks but everything
in the right place as the sonic stars align
.
Jepe’s remix opens with the thud of a powerful kick drum and a psycho killer bassline, and
takes us deeper, with the vocal more imposing in the mix
.
Ede’s mix, by contrast, is a funky breaks- driven acidic builder, an ethereal vibe set by the
snatched vocal samples, a Mediterranean vibe
.
