With "Stay until the Light" Oliver Koletzki reveals the first high-impact sneak peak of his forthcoming tenth studio album "Trip to Sanity" – a monumental milestone in the seasoned Berlin producer's career at the forefront of contemporary electronic music, to be released on Stil vor Talent this autumn.      
 
On "Stay until the Light" Koletzki collaborates with fellow label stalwart Niko Schwind and the San Francisco singer Talmirage, masterfully melding Oliver's penchant for dramatic neon synths, rolling bass lines and captivating vocal hooks into a gripping indie-dance hymn that seductively beckons the listener to "stay until the light, hold me until the sunrise".  
 
Accompanying the to-the-point "Radio Mix", Oliver and Niko each deliver their own "Extended Mix", both firmly focussed on the floor. While Koletzki opts for a psychedelic rendition which strips down the vocals and amps up the drama by way of a teasing arrangement, Schwind beds Talmirage's voice on a bass-heavy italo framework to ecstatic effect. Rounding off the single, we are treated to two additional remixes: First up, Watergate hotshot Biesmans crafts a powerfully pumping reinterpretation weaving elastic synths and jazzy breaks around the original's vox. The Barcelona-based talent Gespona then shines by way of the chugging percussion and funky fluorescent licks of his rework – bringing a heavy-hitting package to a close that wets the appetite for more.

The beloved identical twin duo, Lunar Plane makes their highly awaited return to Stil vor Talent with a new EP, aptly titled 'Waiting.' This EP serves as the highly anticipated follow-up to their previous collaboration with Daniel Rateuke, released in 2019. A throwback to their early steps in the music scene, this new EP connects the dots between the uplifting artlessness of their juvenilia with the full-grown precision of their most recent pieces. After a string of contributions to the catalogues of Anjunabeats, Disco Halal and 2DIY4, then followed by a few months turning their attention to digital art as a way to get their second wind during the pandemic, Emre and Mert serve up an EP that sums up their all-embracing, dance-focussed paradigm. Sezer Uysal adds an eerie mystery and a seriously thunderous punch to this ghoulish hybrid of a track. Zombie workout mode activated. Right on cue for extended action throughout the even busier part of the summer ahead of us, here comes Gespona's third Stil vor Talent transmission, 'Acridis Talk', after his previous two 2022-released studio efforts, 'Kune' and 'Magota'. Hailing from Barcelona, Gespona champions a sound both sensually deep and openly groove and percussion-focussed, which echoes well the type of sound he tries to bring on stage. Armed with his Elektron Digitone and Moog Sub 37, the Spanish producer pulls out a quartet of essentially tribal-minded tunes designed to fit any moment of the night, in terms of both rhythm and ambience, harnessed for proper explosive peak-time business and further spacious atmospheric sorties in equal measure.Beating a martial pulse, 'Helicon' goes hard in the paint with its cleverly engineered mix of hi-intensity EBM tropes, sizzling tech outbursts and lavishly hued synth envelopes from outer space, gaining maximal momentum up until about halfway in, when the wildest break/drop combo ensures to have you taking a tumble into the greater void. A more subliminal, delay-heavy piece of 4x4 expression, the title-track 'Acridis Talk' trades the linear buildup of the opener for the kind of syncopate swagger one would be hard pressed to resist. Befogged under a thick haze of FX and processed machine talk, the track evolves into a fiery pseudo-acid/indus slasher, murky and oddly rousing as it gets. Perhaps the epitome of Gespona's signature moody ambivalence and thorough floor-destroying acuity.Recorded in collaboration with fellow Barcelona-based Argentinian producer Djolee, 'Colorblind' showcases the housier, more atemporal facet of Gespona's work. Laying down a feverish assembly of soulful vocals out the classic mid-90s house repertoire and more exploratory keyboard work on a kosmische tip, the pair has us transfixed with their highly infectious blend of ancestral vibes and ultramodern groove. Together with Buenos Aires' rising talent Abuk, the Barcelona maestro shifts focus onto more intricate polyrhythms, treating the odd Latin / piano house classic to a vibrant facelift, as it nimbly swings the pendulum between elegant melodic brittleness and no-prisoner, bass-laden floor menace. A work of dual beauty and rugged power, hypnotic and entrancing from all angles.
