To mark another special chapter in its journey, Melodic Therapy proudly presents a collaborative EP that celebrates powerful and visionary encounters. Elysium is the latest release from Brazilian artist Curol, who joins forces in the studio with three producers from different backgrounds and musical paths: Dimitri Nakov, Tolex, and RUSKAR. Bringing together distinct strengths and identities, the EP features two intense tracks that reflect the diversity and depth of the contemporary electronic scene.

Curol is currently one of the most respected Brazilian artists on the international circuit. Her impressive career includes performances at major festivals such as Rock in Rio, Zamna Tulum, DGTL Amsterdam, Lima and Santiago, as well as Tomorrowland Brazil and Belgium. Her music transcends borders and connects cultures, consistently reaching top positions on the Beatport and Traxsource charts, and earning support from icons such as Black Coffee, Lee Burridge, and the Keinemusik collective.

The title track 'Elysium' is an epic Progressive House journey, created in collaboration with the legendary Dimitri Nakov — known for his 15 years touring alongside Sasha and his work with Bedrock, All Day I Dream, and artists like Björk and The Chemical Brothers — and rising Brazilian talent Tolex, who has received continued support from names such as Adriatique, Vintage Culture, Gordo, and Innellea. The track blends driving percussion, a cinematic atmosphere, and a drop of pure catharsis — crafted to leave a lasting impact on dancefloors worldwide.

Following this, the track 'Retail' takes on a more organic and ancestral approach, the result of a collaboration between Curol and Brazilian producer RUSKAR, a prominent name in the Afro House scene with releases on labels such as Sol Selectas, IZIKI, and Midnight Riders. Inspired by indigenous rhythms and spirituality, the collaboration fuses mystical percussion, dense sonic landscapes, and a rhythmic sensibility that pulses with ancestry and transformation.

This release represents not only a meeting of artists from different generations and origins, but also a statement from Melodic Therapy on the power of collaboration, inner listening, and music as a universal force of connection. Two sides of the same sonic soul — between the euphoria of the dancefloor and the introspection of ritual.

Following a series of standout singles, Captain Mustache finally unveils his new album Luz on the legendary mobilee. This genre-defying journey through light, darkness and electro nostalgia arrives on 12th September 2025 as a deeply personal yet collaborative statement from the French producer. 

Following acclaimed releases on Kompakt, Permanent Vacation and Bedrock, Luz marks a new chapter for Captain Mustache. Inspired by his love of the album format, he uses this long plane format to break away from the constraints of club functionality and embrace a freer creative spirit. As such, the record embraces retro-future electro, EBM, techno, wave and rap on a hugely textured album that’s just as at home on the dancefloor as it is in headphones. 

Luz means ‘light’ in Portuguese which reflects how this album explores both the light of day and the shadows of night. The 11-track record includes standout collaborations with friends and kindred spirits: Play Paul, Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel’s brother reappears after their hit 'Everything' on Kompakt on opener 'The Pathetic. It's a sleek, futuristic electro-techno sound with sultry indie vocals. Mel. E. Logan of Chicks on Speed returns on the moody 'Pen Weapon' following previous fan-favourites like 'Mentally Naked' and 'Good Weather Girl', and the powerhouse duo of Sian and Sacha Robotti aka Third Culture bring their rhythmic firepower on lead single 'Vertigo' which is an arp-driven electro workout. 

Solo cuts come with the chugging astral ascent of 'Dancing Like Muffins,' a real standout at the heart of the album. There is also Detroit electro jam 'Luz' and slinky rhythms and retro-future melodies of 'Black Light'. Alongside these are the starry melodies and sleek late night grooves of 'La Vertu' with Jean Brock and cosmic vibes of 'La Nuit' with techno icon POPOF. Both are tracks that previously lit up global DJ sets from the likes of Claptone, David Guetta and Paul van Dyk. Also featured is CS Rucker, an Albuquerque-based rapper who adds yet another unexpected texture to the backlit trap and brokn beat fusion that is 'No Retreat' with its neon synths and smart bars. 

Rooted in 80s and 90s synth nostalgia but always pushing forward, Luz redefines electro through a modern, emotional lens.

Italian composer and multi-instrumentalist Giorgia Angiuli signs off on her first Stil vor Talent EP, while Dutch youngster Marc Holstege returns, cropping up their emotion infused, all-around sensorial acoustic in four original productions.
Giorgia Angiuli, the Tenax Club resident is well known for her versatile sets, where she combines keyboards, drum pads and theremin sounds with those of sax, toy flute and trumpets. A diverse arsenal which allows her to constantly shape a vibrating and lively groove on the dancefloor.
Giorgia’s knack for versatility in her live sets is also easily distinguishable throughout the EP. Layering numerous instrument samples and loops, she paints an intricate picture on Hidden Garden. Airy pads prevail a heavily harmonious yet melancholic lead, while glitchy accents complete the scene. Distorted vocals paired with dreamy whimpers offer an enigmatic overlay, adding to the heightened mood.
Axial Tilt comes in centered around an arpeggiated piano loop, as radial synths chime in and out, on a backdrop of metallic bites. Interspersed are Giorgia’s ethereal vocals, adding more depth and colour to the entire construction as it drifts off to a full stop.
Sumptuous strings champion off Maaari, an emotion-ridden exploration of pensive synths by Marc Holstege. Lengthy, winding sequences gradually build up the melody, meeting at a highly intense peak point that’s bound to stir up and animate its audience.
Mixing the dramatic with the serene, Alpas doesn't push you to move, but listen. The bassline is subdued, enveloped by upbeat blimps with the focus kept on the lead. The overall tone is bittersweet, packed with contrasting details that come together in the artist’s signature style.
