Our next release comes once again from our good friend Marius Drescher. After his hit „We Had It All“ in 2020, Marius strikes back with his new EP "Hunter". The title track „Hunter“ is a powerful, melodic dancefloor bomb for those ecstatic peaktime hours. Following with „Memory Lane“, Marius shows us his talent to combine nostalgic soundscapes and driving grooves. The third and final track of the release is called „Shadows“ and closes the EP with a vibe of darkness and flickering lights.

“Shu Hal Ayyam” is a reimagined version of one of the most beloved pieces by Ziad Rahbani, the legendary Lebanese composer, playwright, and cultural icon. Originally released in the 1980s, the track captures a unique blend of melancholy and rhythm that has always resonated deeply with me.

This version is a personal tribute, blending the original vocals and melodies with layered percussion and modern textures in memory of a figure whose music has shaped so much of Arabic cultural identity.

This edit is shared as a personal tribute to the original work. All rights to the original composition and vocals belong to their respective copyright holders.

Moonwalk kick off 2017 in their usual style, unrolling the first production effort of the year in the form of three original tracks and a collab with label mate Teenage Mutants.

Komet comes in swiftly with a low end throbbing bass, setting a murky mood. The duo apply one of their hallmarks, developing an uplifting winding groove that is equally enveloping as it is relentless, making for a great build-up track.
Recalling a celestial atmosphere, Abstract offers an upbeat tech house exploration featuring alert arpeggiators and an optimistic melody.
Odensa, a coop with Teenage Mutants emerges from the same dark standpoint, laden with earworm synth loops and a sunken bassline. While the combination provides a steady backbone, the groove is leavened by a chordal countermelody that seizes the main focus.

By far the gloomiest track of the bunch, Vite sees Moonwalk and Teenage Mutants join forces and intersect styles in a buzzing banger full of familiar elements. A paced rhythm, rave pads, dubby stabs and subtle kicks craft a relaxed, yet effective build-up. Moonwalk and Teenage Mutants’ knack for deep tech flourishes and synthetic tones finds perfect expressions in this EP, ranging from low to high energy heaters fit for any set time.

A1. Nick Devon & Darko Milosevic - Pictures From The Past (Original Mix)[VINYL]

Usually noted for their solo performances, Einmusik step into the studio banding together with D-Nox and Beckers for a versatile heavy four-tracker. Einmusik builds up two constructions reminiscent of his live sets, expertly crafting ambiances that drive the listener into a trance. While on Sirens the focal point is a downward winding synth that instantly grabs attention, Sweet Spot offers a perfect counter with its ascending layers. On the flipside, you might remember D-Nox from the Schneeweiss compilation, and the German performer stays true to his style. Both Escape and his collaboration with Beckers deliver an engrossing groove, with a spellbinding bassline that sets a trippy mood. While Escape sets the tone and makes for an interesting development in a set, Mechanism makes a great tool for sustaining the intensity on an unassertive yet energetic way.
