Following up on his releases via Moodmusic, Crossfrontier and Save Us Records, Berlin DJ @affects has recently worked with Mexican record label @anathemarecords to release his new Deep House EP titled “Veritas”. “I wanted to work with a singer for quite a while now”, says the young artist. At first, the original track was created without vocals but then AFFECT! found the perfect voice in Lukas Weinmann. (...) Two remixes were created by Diynamic Music’s @thyladomid and @philippkempnich of Einmusika Recordings.

Nach Releases auf Labels wie Moodmusic, Crossfrontier und Save Us Records ist der Berliner @affects dieses Mal auf einem mexikanischen Label gelandet. Über @anathemarecords erscheint seine Deep-House-EP „Veritas“. „Die Idee, mal etwas mit einem Sänger zu machen, hatte ich schon länger“, erklärt der junge Musiker. Der gleichnamige Original-Track ist zunächst ohne Vocals fertiggestellt worden. Die passende Stimme fand AFFECT! in Lukas Weinmann. (...) Geremixed wurden die beiden Stücken von Diynamic-Mitglied @thyladomid und @philippkempnich von Einmusika Recordings.

Named after an exotic South American bird, Nandoo kicks off with a subtle bassline and gradually blossoms into a string-heavy breezy cut, as playful as it is dynamic.

Label chief Oliver Koletzki amps up the exotic appeal, adding tribal vocals and eccentric yet organic-sounding elements, leading up to a tension-filled, dance-frenzy inducing break.
With its slightly more sober musical range, Theben acts as a grounding agent, offering the perfect foundation for exploring. Piano loops, synth leads and oriental vocal elongations all make an appearance and amalgamate in an eclectic and lively piece.

Simsim serves up an evenly warm and airy atmosphere, with the artist smoothly intertwining layers of strings with engaging synth leads.
