STIMMULUS Rage Series

A key player in the Spanish electronic music scene, UNDO has long been a key figure for dance music in Barcelona, and beyond. Now based away from the city, on the beautiful Costa Brava, but still a regular presence at it’s many clubs and festivals, UNDO, otherwise known as Gabriel Berlanga, continues to impress with his fiercely individual take on club and electronic music. 

UNDO’s music and approach is rooted in melody, and awash in a distinctly European sensibility. In Barcelona, as a young man, Berlanga enjoyed nights out in open-minded clubs that fused every incoming underground musical wave. As a more hardcore sound swept Spain, Berlanga stayed true to the energy established in his early musical experiences dancing in clubs and playing in bands,  slowly but surely mastering his craft. 

A low-key approach based, one based around friends and community, remains at the heart of Undo’s work with Factor City, his label that has been ‘on the dancefloor since 2003’. An enthusiastic reflection of Berlanga’s own tastes. Releasing primarily through his own imprint, UNDO’s music has seen the light in other labels like Correspondant, Roam, Nein, La Dame Noir, Darkroom Dubs, Melodize or My Favorite Robot amongst others. 

He’s also done great remixes for Miss Kittin, Fairmont, Dj Hell, Nhar or Cabaret Nocturne to name a few. In the last year he has started a new and promising project in collaboration with Casiowaves.

A long-time resident at Barcelona’s legendary Razzmatazz venue, an UNDO DJ set creates a unique energy. Thousands of dancers have been illuminated by his numerous sets around the world: Sonar, FIB, Lethargy, Rework, Nuits Sonores, Paradigm or Club to Club Festivals and renowned clubs such us Panorama Bar, Fabric, Rex, Fuse, Metro, Kaputt or Mn Roy.

Spectribe is for more than a decade DJ, VJ and multimedia director. He performed at all music festivals in Poland, cooperating with such bands as @skalpelmusic, Miloop, Oszibarack, @igor-boxx. As a multimedia director, he co-created performances by Krystian Lupa, Jan Klata, Agata Duda-Gracz... At the Wrocław Multimedia Fountain, where he held the position of Artistic Director, he collaborated with @brian-eno-official. Co-creator of special effects for the film "Rabbit in Berlin", dir. Bartek Konopka, which was nominated for an Oscar. Fascinated with electronic music for years. Founder of the @slapsuper group, passionate about strong and good sound and energetic dancer. His sets are stylishly heterogeneous and strongly reflect what sits in his head. “An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy. Equipped with a rumbling, driving and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began..

In 2018 he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer's education as a first step to pursuing his dream. After releasing EP’s and remixes on labels such as SMR underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, Papaya music,..He felt the melodic music genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what really inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on underground hypnotic techno and ambient music, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’, he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element. For over 130 episodes spreading over 2 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing day by day.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Anhera’, which translates to ‘Darkness’ in sanskrit. With every full moon or solar eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly carved out balance between light and darkness, cheerful and melancholic, where he guides you through the various realms of underground techno music, where you’ll find yourself in the most disturbing, hypnotizing and captivating journeys and where there’s no time, no space, but only the low end frequencies, the screeching synths, the confusing percussive elements which are surrounded by the most beautiful and enchanting ambient soundscapes. And thus the pure reflection of his inner darkness.

Aetha embarked on her musical journey in Lublin, where she began playing and working as a promoter, largely focusing on the psytrance scene under the pseudonym Jot. Over time, her love for classic, groovy techno sounds led to the creation of a new alias - Aetha. Her actions and playing style under these aliases were noticed by the biggest clubs and festivals in Poland and abroad, where she performed alongside leading figures in the techno and psytrance scenes. In 2019, Aetha was honored with an invitation to @tresorberlin for the New Faces series.
She is a co-founder of projects such as FEED, Vultur, and @mandalabookings. A resident at Club @szpitalna1, she also serves as part of the management team. As the Polish ambassador for Croatia's Modem Festival, she was the first woman from Poland to appear on the line-up of both of its stages. For several years, she has been friends with the Instytut Festival, regularly performing at events organized under the @instytuttechno brand. She also conducts workshops in Krakow as part of their @instytutdzwieku school, mentoring dozens of young DJ enthusiasts.
She has collaborated with brands like Goadupa and Egodrop, ran a secret venue in the undergrounds of Krakow called Kinowa, and handled bookings for STK47. Beyond the borders of Poland, she has performed in Berlin, London, Milan, as well as in Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Croatia.

STIMMULUS Rage #02 - Aetha

Piotr Figiel - music producer, live act performer and dj from Krakow, Poland. Formely known for DCM and @peterfeegle projects, since 2014 Piotr performs under his own name, focusing his work mostly on techno, IDM and playing hardware based live acts. His music has always been an eclectic mixture of different influences, original sound design and great sound. Piotr’s work has been released on many Polish and international labels and among many dj and live act club gigs, Piotr also performed at Street Art Festival, Ars Cameralis Festival, Tauron Nowa Muzyka festival and in 2017 Piotr was honoured to play on the legendary @instytuttechno festival in Warsaw. Piotr has been hosting the „Essentia Electronica” radio show at Off Radio Krakow station in 2015-2021. The show became one of the most important promotion hubs for the local electronic music scene, artists, collectives and clubs in Krakow. In 2021 Piotr started a new venture, record label Rwetes. Apart from the solo music activity, Piotr teams up with @gawronski, creating @krakowitz - nostalgic, synthesizer-based, melodic music project. Piotr also works as a producer, mixing and mastering engineer, helping many artists to achieve the dreamed sound of their records.

From 2013 until 2018, as a half of the duo @theeffaith visited such places as Tresor Berlin, Suicide Circus and Birgit & Bier, as well as most of the key clubs in the country. Thanks to his promotional activities for the first time in Poland, it was possible to hear artists such as Developer ( @modularz ), @uvb, @p-e-a-r-l, @setaoc_mass, @remco-beekwilder, @invite-1, @dimi-angelis, @zippo, @ddan-tek and many more.

Paweł for the last decade has been known under Propane alias. Now getting back under his real name. He has been passionate about electronic music since his early school years, while he has been involved in the Warsaw scene for more than two decades. In previous years, he was responsible for co-founding the Audio Borderline Records label and then the @subraum-official project. In addition to his publishing activities and club performances, between 2014 and 2018, he was also involved in promoter activities, which managed to invite artists such as @rebekah, @truncate, @etappkyle, @bjarki, tobias-freund, Developer ( @modularz ), Sleeparchive, @dj-t-1000, @fiedelone and @swarmintelligence to Poland. For a long time, the strictly clubbing life of performing has moved away and for the past few years Paul has been focusing on production, honing his craft and building the perfect studio. The opportunity to record a podcast for Stimmulus, is, in a way, a form of DJ return from beyond the worlds for Pawel and thus present his perfect vision of techno. The list of artists who have always been the biggest inspiration in technical productions has invariably included @lewisfautzi, @jonas-kopp, @yan_cook, Reeko, @jamesruskin-blueprint and @exium in particular. The set also built on releases from the likes of @tokenrecords, @polegroup and @klockworksofficial.
