Almost a year ago I had the opportunity to spin for a tribute to Roy Ayers featuring Roy himself, Pete Rock, The Robert Glasper Experiment & Stefon Harris. The performance on stage and on the turntables was dedicated to the many interpretations of Roy's music.

One of the most legendary and most influential songs Roy Ayers ever made is "Everybody Loves The Sunshine." I put together a 15 minute mix complete with photos from the event featuring interpretations by 9th Wonder, D'Angelo, Dr. Dre, Erykah Badu and Mary J. Blige. Enjoy...

The Brooklyn-born rapper was discovered by Mark Ronson, who recorded and produced his first demo. Stimulus is now based in Berlin where he became one of the first artists ever featured on the popular show COLORS. “Brooklyn Raps and Berlin Beats Gloriously Unite” – was the title of High Snobiety’s review of Stimulus’ release with Black Fryar.
