Nicola Loporchio is a producer and DJ born and based in Bari, South Italy, in 1987.

In late 2008 he gave life to one of his most famous projects, Nico Lahs, attracting immediately the attention of some of the best electronic music outputs in the underground scene. It didn’t take long for some well-known and respected labels to notice him and, indeed, in 2010 he signed an EP on 8bit Records and since then his career has been steadily on the rise: in 2011 his first EP with Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings, another one in 2012 and, in the same year, also his first EP on Steve Bug’s Poker Flat, to finally come back on Ovum in 2014.
During those years, he touched base in some of the most prestigious electronic music clubs around the world such as Cable, Sankeys, Club der Visionaere, Globus/Tresor, KaterHolzig, Weekend and Rex Club, just to name a few.

This week we welcome accomplished Italian producer Nico Lahs, aka  Nicola Loporchio.  Hailing from Bari(Italy)he has been releasing deep, classy house music and high-quality sounds for over a decade on the likes of Ovum, Poker Flat and Rawax to name a few.

2020 saw the producer ramp up his output after a five years hiatus during which he focused on his Cosmic Garden alias and started his label Cosmic Rhythm, releasing in May “Freedom”, an LP of smokey vintage house,via Detroit born/Beijing based Adeen Records, to then issue a 12-inch via Brooklyn’s Dailysession Records and finally cap off this stellar run with an EP, “Blow Your Mind”, on Dan Curtin’s Metamorphic Recordings.

This year Nico Lahs released “Got Me Coming Back” on Jimpster’s Delusions Of Grandeur and “Make Up - The Edits” which is a compilation of hand picked 70s & 80s 39s featuring hidden dance, funk and disco gems compiled by Chez Damier which have been retouched and edited himself.
