An only child, born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Removed From Society ("RFS") spent the majority of his formative years traveling and working with many carnivals, circuses, festivals and rock concerts. From this experience he gained what would become a life long love of music and the music industry. He also learned what it truly means to be "off the grid" and "removed form society". When asked about his motivation he answered, "(the) love of music is greater than any other thing in my life".
A multi genre DJ influenced mainly by diverse breaks and electro-house, RFS was oddly enough a concept slotted for a metal band project. After many frustrated efforts, RFS came to the epiphany that in order to realize his full creative potential he needed to go solo. The best way to do this, he concluded, was to undertake the task of becoming a world class selector of quality dance music. Opening for such talented performers as, Butch Clancey and Huglife, he strives to bring only the most refined beats and beautiful vibes. Removed From Society is here for the long haul, and will accept nothing but the best for those privileged enough to experience his performances.
