Kalfar is a hard-hitting rock band from Norway and England founded in 2014 by Dan Patterson and Haakon Aarflot. With a passion for music Aarflot and Patterson underwent a baptism of fire in late 2014, working hard to write, record and self-produce Kalfar’s debut album; “Twenty Per Cent from Perfection”.

Hard rock should be announced loud and with energy and the best place for this is live! To do this Kalfar’s lineup was completed in 2015 with the additions of Rik van der Linden (Drums), Aleksander Skårnes (Bass) and Vegard Bjermeland (Vocals). Kalfar went on to spend most of 2015/2016 playing live and writing new material.

In 2017 they finally had enough hard earned money to go into a professional studio and record their second album “Going to Hell”.

Kalfar wants to bring a 80s-modern day fueled rock grunge fest driven by hard riffs and melodic hooks to you. Are you ready?
