Straight out of coastal Bordeaux, Laroze is back on Flux with another
collection of floor-focussed cuts. Joining him on remix duties this time is fellow Frenchman Kosme. 

Following on from FLUX002, Laroze’s style is typically packed with energy and verve, using the classic US house framework as a launch-pad to bring his sound to contemporary dance-floors across Europe.

The B-side, Kosme’s remix of You Better Give Up (Romy’s Floor Version) flips the original completely on its head, where glistening synth undulations drive the track forward with newly defined purpose. An extended break-down sees Kosme drop in nostalgic break-beats and a sombre string arrangement, before rolling back in.

Last  summer  Thoma  Bulwer  launched  Parasol  Culture,  a  vinyl  only  imprint  focusing  on  quality  house  and  techno  with  a  tinge  of  "It's  a  London  thing".  The  first  Parasol  12”  was  a  collaboration  with  Anna  Wall;  an  EP  made  during  their  red  wine  fueled  winter  months  under  the  same  roof  in  his  studio  in  Hackney  Wick. 

 The  release  sold  out  on  the  shelves  gaining  support  from  the  likes  of  Mood II  Swing,  Cinthie,  Burnski,  Voigtmann,  and  Cab  Drivers  plus  on  the  airwaves  via  NTS,  KMAH  andIbiza  Sonica. 

 To  kick  off  the  ‘Jandaze’  EP,  Thoma  has  once  again  teamed  up  with  long  time  partner  in  crime  Anna  Wall  for  a  collaborative  A-side.  The  B-side  is  2  choice  cuts  by  Thoma  that  have  been  doing  the  rounds  on  the  DJ  circuit  in  Hackney  Wick  and  beyond.  

We feature 'Insouciant'. Despite the meaning of the word to 'show  a  casual  lack  of  concern',  a  lot  of  work  went  into  making  this  one.  It’s  the  most  laid-back  of  the  bunch,  with  Smallville-esque  Juno  106  melodies  perfect  for  the  afterparty  or  warm  up  session.  This  goes  out  to  the  post-NYD  loft  party  crew  in  The  Wick  where  it  was  played  for  the  first  time.

Nathan Micay aka Bwana is gearing up for what promises to be a very busy summer. Earlier this year he launched a vinyl-only label called Schvitz Edits, and the first 12" featured his own unexpected dancefloor edits of Dr. John and Canadian folk singer Gordon Lightfoot.

Out 26th May, the second release finds some of Nathan's friends joining the fun. We're premiering the flip - Glasgow favourite Perko's take on Brazilian bossa nova legend Sergio Mendes' 'Magalenha'.
