Stitched Saxophone Quartet is an innovative ensemble comprised of classically trained musicians who have all studied at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music Griffith University. Performing an elaborate array of music, including new works written for the quartet, highlights the diverse repertoire and functioning versatility of the group. As a recipient of The Playing Queensland Fund, Stitched conducted a successful schools tour presenting workshops, performances and individual tuition to many students in Far North Queensland early in 2015.
  Accentuating their performance record Stitched was involved in the Paint it Red Chamber Concert series, Queensland Clarinet and Saxophone Concert Series, Griffith University Open Day, Nambour Christian College Arts Night and Geebung Special School Fundraiser. They have also performed as the opening act for singer Sylvie Paladino at a school chaplaincy fundraising concert and at the Brisbane Jazz Club as part of ‘Sax 2 the Max.’
  Stitched plans to continue to perform and educate within the community as well as expanding both nationally and internationally. 

The Nexas Quartet is focused on promoting the musical plurality of the saxophone, showcasing its versatility and ability to cross genres. This unique approach has enabled the ensemble to perform throughout Australia and internationally, displaying the diversity of the repertoire.  
The ensemble regularly performs a diverse repertoire that reflects their artistic direction ranging from performing transcriptions, standard and contemporary repertoire to collaborations with theatre companies and premiering and commissioning  new works.
Being open-minded to new and innovative music, Nexas have had many Australian works commissioned and dedicated to them by composers such as Lachlan Skipworth, Amanda Cole, David Slater and Marcus Whale.
