James Oliver, also known as Lakor and James Lloyd is a music producer/DJ from Chester, UK. He has shown an enthusiastic interest in music since a very young age, started DJing at the age of 15 in 2007 and began producing tracks in 2008 after taking an A Level course in Music Technology. After beginning a University course in Creative Music Technology in 2010, his production standard increased rapidly, his contact list extended and he soon found himself signed to Room 01 recordings and Darktide Recordings with Techno and Drum & Bass records. His production style is eclectic and ranges from Drum & Bass, to Dubstep, House and Techno, but has always retained a theme of deep and minimal sounds.  He is always making the effort to push his sound further and trying hard not to sonically repeat himself.
