SOLA is a Drum & Bass trio comprised of James, Robbie and Paul. They have releases on Eatbrain, Jungle Cakes, ProgRam, Suburban Base, Formation, Korsakov Music, Play Me, Nuusic, Dance Concept, Gorilla Warfare, Dub Damage, Deep In The Jungle, Riot Dubs, Boomslang, 24 Karat, Soul Deep, Headsbass, and their own imprint Grand Theft Audio.

After many singles and EPs, their debut album Stars Align, released on Grand Theft Audio in September 2022 to widespread critical acclaim. The promo journey for the LP landed them an upload on UKF Drum & Bass as well as an interview for UKF with Dave Columbo Jenkins and a guestmix for Mollie Collins on Kiss FM.

They hit 2023 running with high profile EP and Single releases on Korsakov Music, Play Me, Boomslang & Formation, which have seen them receiving support from as far afield as Pendulum, Sub Focus & Ray Keith. In April, they won the DJ Rap remix competition against 658 other entries and in May they released the remix album Stars Realigned on GTA, including the anthemic Cliques remix of Pico De Gallo.

In August and September, they did their first tour outside of Europe with performances in Canada, USA, Vietnam & Australia and are currently planning an extended US & Canada tour for 2024, a year which so far has seen them release on legendary labels like Eatbrain, Jungle Cakes and Suburban Base, as well as netting a second UKF upload for Gulf Stream w/ K Jah on Grand Theft Audio.

Their sets are a fast-paced and unpredictable with an emphasis on crowd reaction and stacked to the brim with tracks that won't be heard anywhere else for months, sometimes years, as well as fan favourites from their back catalogue.

If anyone knows this, it’s Sammie Hall.  A shining light in the new generation of singer-songwriters to have emerged in the UK’s thriving drum & bass scene in recent years, Sammie might seem like a relatively new name, but she’s been eating, sleeping, breathing, living and loving this culture for more years than you might know.  
Sammie’s story boasts many inspiring twists and turns. From her love of karaoke and talent shows as a child; to the drum & bass breakfast show she hosted for years on Brighton’s Reverb FM; to her deep passion for playing acoustic guitar and having people sing along to her own songs at open mic nights… Every chapter of Sammie’s life has involved high levels of music. But nothing on the prolific and international levels she’s been operating at since her debut release on Down 2 Earth Musik in 2020.
Breath-taking, goosebumping and emotionally-charged; Sammie’s vocals found the perfect home in drum & bass. Complementing the music’s infamous, unruly turbo spirit, her distinctive, powerful and dynamic style has become synonymous with the starker, darker and experimental side of the genre. This unique style has attracted an endless range of highly respected artists, labels and brands including Sola, Airglo, Cliques, Wingz, SiLi, Conrad Subs, Formation Records, Overview Music, Program, Skankandbass.
Driven by a strong sense of community and inspired by helping others, Sammie has also established a hugely successful collaboration group online that brings creatives from all over the world together. She’s also responsible created two very popular vocal sample-packs for ByTheProducer and EST Loopcloud, giving producers a chance to utilise high quality vocals with full creative autonomy and without fear of copyright strikes. Understanding just how many twists and turns a life in music can have, it’s not just her music that brings people together, but her actions, too. And this is just the beginning; Sammie might seem like she’s reached her destination, but her rich journey continues…

DJ STIVS - Mashing up the dance with a badman blend of jungle, raggatek and breakcore. A true giant of the underground dance scene, Stivs is a founding member of the infamous Life4Land Sound as well as several independent record labels. As one third of bass-terrorist trio The D.S.C., Stivs has been steadily hacking away at the rave scene for over a decade, lumping speakers across muddy fields, inhabiting warehouses for one night and one night only, and playing dirty ragga-jungle, breakcore and raggatek to jumping party people across the globe, entertaining ravers at clubs, Teknivals, raves and festivals since the year 2000.

DJ Stivs, AKA Finn O’Rourke, started producing in 2003 and, having been raised on amens since his early teens, soon developed a particular talent for hardcore, ragga and dancehall-influenced jungle. Learning his way round Logic and Ableton alongside his Life4Land brethren, he followed closely in the footsteps of legends like Remarc, Lemon D and Ray Keith and was soon applying cutting-edge production techniques to the sounds of his youth, pioneering a brand-new breed of old school and staking his claim to a chapter in the Jungle book..

He brings these skills to the D.S.C’s table in abundance, creating soundclash-inspired dubstep, jungle and techno alongside fellow Life4Land founders Ed Cox and Scion. They regularly work with top ragga vocalists like Daddy Freddy, Murray Man, Demolition Man and Deadly Hunter, as well as collaborating with producers such as Freddy Frog, Ghost, M.D.S., Kelvine 373 and Scamp. On the back of his UK successes, Stivs has toured all over Europe, appearing in France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Lithuania, as well as executing a quick sweep of the southern hemisphere taking in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Tokyo. In 2010 Stivs and Junglefever co-founded Bomba Cut Recordings, a label dedicated to extreme soundclash-based ragga-junglecore mashups where they can really flex some amen muscle, releasing the dirtiest rasclart beats they can possibly cut to vinyl. However, at the other end of the spectrum he is also heavily involved with Born On Road, a vocally-driven bass-music label unfettered by tempo or style restrictions, where artists are free to explore musical boundaries and span genres including dancehall, dubstep, bashment, breakbeat, reggae and Jungle. Established in 2013 Born On Road is intent on pushing raw emerging talent alongside industry heavyweights such as MC Navigator, David Boomah, Buggsy and Eva Lazarus. He has also programmed festival stages and dance arenas as well as starting his own internet radio station, Site B Radio, where he DJs alongside his Life4Land stablemates as well as an ever-expanding roster of guest DJs. Despite all this extra-curricular activity Stivs is still mashing up the dance week-in week-out in his hometown of Bristol and beyond, gigging regularly all over the UK and Europe. Whether it’s an all-vinyl journey through the jungle ages or an up to-the minute digital set trialling his freshest productions on a crowd, Stivs never fails to create a euphoric auditory journey through bass music and amen breaks. Stivs currently divides his time between his label-related obligations, smacking dancefloors across the UK and Europe, and pushing his production skills to the limit .
