Les éclats de fer et le crépitement au loin,
Répandent l’écho d’un désordre sans fin.

Pour tenter d’échapper aux griffes de la menace.

Battu par des ombres, mais jamais terrassé.

Going through the lyrics:

"Illusions up in the sky" refers to our thoughts (also see canvas on Spotify). 

We often go through life believing certain things that are not true, but we suffer from them, because we believe them. BeLIEve. Often they are a lie, an illusion. 

Once we release ourselves from those illusions, we tend to find more peace and (calm) joy, which can be described as what's actually true. 

"Designated to use our voice". I think you can feel it within yourself when you want to use your 'voice' for a certain cause you're passionate about for example. Or you want to use your voice to translate what helps you in life to other people.

"And so we rejoice". It wasn't intended, but it's actually a Christian sentence, in the ways described above we can experience what we could call rejoice (to feel joyful). 

I don't experience that all the time, but it's often an elevating experience, sharing what I've created 🙏🏻
