Fabián Ruiz aka Farumu, was born on January 20, 1988 in San José, Costa Rica.
His influences in Progressive and Deep house came from great artists such as: Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Fernando Ferreyra, Eli Nissan, Modd, Roy Rosenfeld, Guy Mantzur, Volen Sentir, among others.
In 2019 he had his first adventure in an electronic music festival, The Transitions Festival, held in the Caribbean of Costa Rica, followed by Festival Origines and Festival Renacer in 2020, Festival Ocaso 2024.
He has shared the booth with international DJ-producers such as: 8Kays, DAVI, Hunter Game, Mustafa Ismaeel, Cassian, Mano Le Tough, Konstantin Sibold, Sama Abdulhadi, Space 92, Nicolás Rada, Marcelo Vasami, Mita Gami, Adam Ten, Antrim, Berni Turletti, Nacho Kahn. among others.
He has shared his music on radio shows in countries such as:
Spain, United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Mexico, United States, Panama, Hungary, among others.
He has performed in Mexico and Guatemala and many of the country's main clubs and events such as:  Reset Beats, Antik, 3AM techno, Electric Animals, El Garito Tamarindo, Lost Forest, Noon, Club Venue, Stereo Sushi, Casa Felix, Volcan Look, Club Paradise , SCCA, El Wok and more.
His passion led him to start producing, attracted by the Organic, the melodies and the percussion that complement the exquisiteness of the genre, where he already sealed his music on Labels such as: Univack, BCSA, AH Digital, Cafe de Anatolia, Ethernal Records, Moussaieff Records, Rynth, The Purr & Nube Music.
