Born in California but raised in Georgia; Rico James was given the best of both sounds that still dominate the industry today. He was Brought up on classic Soul and R&B with a mixture of West Coast Rap and Dirty South Hip hop. He started writing at a young age but didn’t capture his confidence until he joined the military. Now with a sharp mind, hard work ethic, and an early bird routine; his travels around the world and his life experience bleed through his music. His lyrics show patients and care while his flow tricks you into meditation. His love of Lo-Fi style beats gives him a very wide range of styles and compatibility with other artist. Poetic is just the foundation when listening to his music.
