Premiere: Jacidorex & Raito - X [NEOACID07]

Adam Beyer invites the legendary DJ Rush to make his Drumcode debut, as the pair link for a stirring maiden collaboration, ‘Restore My Soul’.

The DC boss holds a deep respect for the iconic Chicago artist, the relationship stretching back 25+ years to their time touring the German techno circuit in the 90s. The title track builds dramatic tension via elastic synths that oscillate alongside Rush’s vocal, taking things to heady levels. ‘Control’ is a thick wedge of industrial-edged rhythms, with Rush’s famous vocal providing a commanding presence throughout. ‘Take Me There’ is stirring in composition, transitioning from crushing percussive loops to deep techno funk, before working towards a teased out crescendo as Rush’s hypnotic refrain echoes in the air. A deliciously pumping DJ Rush remix of ‘Restore My Soul’ rounds out the package.

(SK)Po nekonečných problémoch, ktoré nastali počas cesty k vydaniu tejto skladby Ti s radosťou prinášom môj prvý release. Lokomotiv vznikol tak, že som použil zvuky, ktoré pochádzajú z prostredia železníc. Priecestie, výpravčík, koľajnice a hlavne sound, ktorý svojou výbušnosťou a dynamikou pripomína práve idúcu techno lokomotívu. Track je výnimočný najmä tým, že je v ňom môj vlastný text, ktorý nahrala hláska všetkých železničných staníc na Slovensku. Táto skutočnosť má navodiť naozajstný pocit, že práve stojíš na vlakovej stanici, kde čakáš na svoj "LOKOMOTIV"!

(EN)After the endless problems that occurred during the journey to the release of this song, I am happy to bring you my first release. The locomotive was created by using sounds that come from the railway environment. Crossing, storyteller, rails and especially sound, which with its explosiveness and dynamics resembles the just coming techno locomotive. The track is exceptional especially in that it contains my own text, which was recorded by the voice of all railway stations in Slovakia. This fact is supposed to evoke a real feeling that you are standing at the train station, where you are waiting for your "LOCOMOTIVE"!

(SK) Vyvinul som vlastnú Vakcínu! Je vyrobená na báze acidového zvuku, tučného kopáku a zvukov, ktoré nápadite pripomínajú prostredie nemocnice.  Môj druhý release som začal vyrábať ešte na liečebnom pobyte, no finálny rezult prišiel až v čase korona lockdownu. Toto je výsledok, ktorým by som chcel očkovať na mojich eventoch. Verím, že nebudete proti.

(EN) I developed my own Vaccine! It is made on the basis of an acid sound, a fat kick and sounds that are imaginatively reminiscent of a hospital environment. I started to produce my second release during the treatment stay, but the final result came at the time of the corona lockdown. This is the result I would like to vaccinate on my events. I believe you will not mind.

(SK) Vždy som chcel svojou hudbou šíriť aj pozitívnu energiu. Fascinovalo ma, keď som mohol na konci svojho setu zvolniť tempo a zanechať v ľuďoch môj vlastný podpis, ktorý mal za úlohu vyčariť úsmev. "Sunchyme" remix je môj prvý track tohto druhu a je zrkadlom toho, čo som cítil počas leta. Mal som túžbu dať von track s týmto vibom. Pracoval som na ňom na rôznych miestach. Napríklad zavesený na hamaku v prírode, kde prišla išpirácia, ktorá dotvorila tento track do tejto podoby. Verím, že si ho užijete! 

(EN) I always wanted to spread positive energy with my music. I was fascinated when I was able to slow down tempo at the end of party and leave my own signature in the people, which was supposed to conjure a smile. "Sunchyme" remix is my first track of this kind and is a mirror of what I felt during the summer. I had a desire to put the track out with this vibe. I worked on it in different places. For example, hung on a hammock in nature, where came the inspiration that completed this track in this form. I hope you enjoy it!
