Stoned Waves: A Raw Mystical Sonic Revolution

After their debut EP and a series of well-received singles, Stoned Waves have become a powerful force. Based in the Northern Rivers of Australia, Juan Thill assembled a lineup of characters that includes Sofia Grimoldi (drums), Michael Bassborn (bass), Pontus Brock (guitar), Estefi Minniti (vocals, synths, percussion), and Juan Thill (guitar, vocals)who reshaped the band's sound, evolving beyond the garage rock that once defined them.

Their first single, "Planets Crash," and the second, "Fuzzy Cloud," blend gritty garage rock with expansive, experimental textures. It’s a bold exploration of new sonic territory, marking a departure from their past and a willingness to push creative boundaries.

A key turning point came when they teamed up with producer Shae Roberts (The Richmond Sluts, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, O & Shea). After nearly a year of recording at Rockbox Recording, the band and Shae crafted an album that fuses raw rock with a more refined, expansive sound. The result is a captivating collection that will draw listeners in and leave them wanting more.
