Under The Rain is a band formed in 2015 and plays dark wave, post-punk, new wave and gothic rock. It's the personal project of Daniel Guerra Caballero (Peru) and pretends bring back the sounds of 80's. With clearly influence of this period, bands like The Cure, New Order and Bauhaus are the main referents. In June we released our 1st LP "When it Burns Like Snow".

This is the set I played thursday night 11.30 - 03.00 at Fusion Festival, Sonnendeck. It was definatley a crazy night, and an incredible experience. I'm still overwhelmed by this big crowd and dancing jellyfishes. Thanks so much for everything. Thank you 3000Grad for having me! Thanks to my crew who supported me in my little princesstower the whole time!
I hope all of you had a really nice weekend, too. Wether at Fusion or in bed, hopefully with love. 

Unfortunately I had to make a little cut in the set at the end cause I pressed the cue button once - probably because I got really excited as the stage manager told me I have to play longer cause the next DJ did not show up. Upsi!

The result of me wanting to give this great theme song my own twist.
Being a fan of Game Of Thrones I just had to take this into my studio and see what would come out of it. 

No midi file or loops were utilized in the making of this song. I wanted to learn the parts, figure them out, enjoy the process of discovering music, discover emotions, chords and grooves.
The original theme was composed by Ramin Djawadi and published by Varèse Sarabande.

Mixed and produced at Xenomorph Studio, Vancouver, BC, Canada. December 2012.
