Despite the high level of production quality in her work, Irish-born Kerrie is a relative newcomer. Nowadays her calendar’s filling up with gigs from Medellín to her adoptive city of Manchester, but for a long time she honed her skills on the other side of the decks and at the latter’s Eastern Bloc. These formative years have now blossomed into a fully fledged career as head of her own Dark Machine Funk label and as published artist under Don’t Be Afraid and I Love Acid to name a few. Her trademark is hulking, angular cuts and grainy, analog textures of the Blueprint stripe, a label which has fittingly taken her under its wing with her Raw Regimen EP just released in March. Bassiani Podcast 127 is a serpentine, kick-heavy studio mix by the new and exciting talent.

For the 95th edition of TTA’s art:cast series, Ivan takes listeners far out on a trippy ride with seductive beats, industrial groove and electro genre-bending  - a ticket to a no frills warehouse rave (of your dreams) at ungodly hours. The pair has gained international popularity since 2009 with their dark, melodic and skillfully produced electro funk. Known for their soulfully emotional melodies, the duo combines elements of techno, such as acid and vibrant drums to traditional electro in their own signature style.
