I’m Ms.Rea 20 yrs old from Columbus,Ohio.I rap but I also sing and write Lyrics. I started rapping the summer of '09 and was a member of the group Shred Team, and working with them we did a lot of shows. I’m not really that well of a performer ,but diligently working at becoming better.
 I really enjoy writing ,it gives me the chance for me to give people a part of myself. I try to stay true to myself in my music. I’m a down to earth  young  woman ,I work two jobs ,I like to have fun,I like to party, and I also go though things in life, so that all comes out in my music.
   My favorite genres to write to are pop and rap. I enjoy listening to all types of music though, from rap to country music, If it tells a good story or is catchy..I’m wit it… Although my main focuses are rap and pop, I enjoy writing types of music.
In 2012 I had the opportunity to be a part of the Female Takeover. That was a real fun experience, I got the chance to meet some pretty cool new people who are out here tryna get it in this music same as myself. Towards the end of 2012 I dropped my first mixtape entitled "Conceited", and done features with  artist Anji B., Lady Yaja,  Goody The Great, Fanum, Sapphire Blu, Veeya, Thikk Blood, Cinderella , Lil Cuzz, Mj New ,and Alliance… But as of now am in the process of working on my album.. No release date as of yet, but if it all goes as planned (fingers crossed)…It will be a combo of 4 different genres

Barb Wire’s brand has expanded since she has partnered with Aaron Mitchell CEO of Slumlord Studio’s back in 2012. This hip-hop veteran producer has brought out the authentic side of this music creator we know of today and she is sure to be seen globally and heard nationwide in due time
