I don't want to crap on to much here I as I loath long winded Bio's so I will try to bare my soul and but keep it personal and simple.
I am  Byron Bay based dj with 18 years experience behind the decks.
I started my Dj experience at the youth full age of 46 years.
Maybe it was a natural progression  after a lifetime of musical passion and a huge vinyl collection. I played guitar but my fingers were clumsy so when I discovered parties I sold my beautiful Maton guitar to buy my first set of decks
I was lucky to have a vibrant underground scene to start up in. I could grab my sound  and go and set up in the bush and people would appear otherwise I would have been confined to my bedroom. 
I mean who would give a 46 year old dj, just starting out who couldn't beat match, work ?
Luckily I survived on the quality of my tunes while I learn't to beat match with the best.
So off I went playing psy trance on vinyl in the bush.
Over those 17 years driven by nothing but pure passion things have grown.
These day's there's not to many dancer's  in the region who have not crossed my path.
These day's I have a solid reputation for rocking a dance floor, they tell me, every single time. 
I am known for marathon set's doing parties from start to finish starting out deep house funky house progressive, minimal,  Techho , then to psy trance (but not anymore, no more psy trance) and winding it back down again.
I also can play any party anytime with my diverse versatility where  my set's are crafted strictly to the vibe of each respective party.. Yes I am a old school dj.
I now play at  most of the regions premier events festival's  and night clubs (some very big) but won't go into a rave naming them.
I have done plenty of
 studio work with my production partner Sam Crawford which saw us signed to italian label and win a North Coast entreatment industry award  music award but all that is now on hold and I am just happy to continue to  dj' on a grass roots level. I now allocate any studio time to being  strictly a dj and I feel  that makes me a better dj  than many producers who call themselves dj's.
At 63 years of age I am having a ball in my creative bubble that is blessed with countless glowing soul's.

Aussie band, Tijuana Cartel, has established itself as a distinctive musical entity through their innovative fusion of diverse genres. Combining electronic music production with a rich tapestry of world sounds, they have crafted a unique sonic landscape that captures a broad spectrum of global influences.

Hunter & Smoke are a Gypsy Jazz and Funk fusion band residing in the lush hinterland of Byron Bay, Australia. The band has since grown from the instrumental trio that it began as; with Scott Davey now on drums, Kim Moxham on flute, sax and percussion, Chris Wesely on synth, Alessandro Berra on bass, Dominic Rado on electric violin, and Madison Levi as vocalist, they bring new life to Luke Horsfield's incredible acoustic compositions and create an intensely colourful and high-energy musical experience.

Amongst their original pieces, Hunter & Smoke explore a vast repertoire of timeless classics, modern pop hits and eclectic jazz pieces. They approach each arrangement with an edgy and unique playing style, allowing them to offer up a buffet of musical treats for the aural palate whilst maintaining their own completely original sound.

This music will make feet move and feed the soul.

The Badlands are a byron bay based four piece made up of four salty individuals who have recently come together to cement the final lineup known as The Badlands. Hailing from differing backgrounds , Pauly NZ, Tommy the mid north coast, Massimo Melbourne and Alex the sunny coast they now call byron home where their varied musical backgrounds have led to a culmination of sound both unique and warming to fresh ears. The band takes influences from both the 60/70s blues/rock movement and the early 90s skate/surf punk and grunge scenes. Their self titled E.P released last november , backed with a handful of successful local gigs has built the band a semi what underground following in the byron area.

Their latest single New Age Prescription Product was tracked and mastered at 301 byron bay with producer Jordan Power, and with it the boys will be hitting the road in June this year touring from Sydney to the sunshine coast. They would say their sound can be best/worst described by : if rock n roll wore grunge out to dinner, took a trip of acid with punk rock and ate a politician you would find 'The Badlands' served on or in the last sip of whisky.
