Trying some more weird drops again wooo spooky~ (｢･ω･)｢ Took about 22 hours after having to change the drop design 4 times, becoming increasingly frustrated, went out to dinner and had the final design idea come to me after chugging a Texas Roadhouse vodka cocktail "but what if whisper drop-". Thank you vodka, very cool ヽ( °◇°)ノAnyways I actually recorded the process for writing this track and am considering editing & uploading it incase you're interested in seeing my general process for writing a track like this (spoiler alert it's a very long recording LOL)

It is the end of an era...

As a 19-year-old! Today I'm turning 20! *cries* I'm old now (not quitting yet lol)

Hey fam! No, you're not imagining things I did upload this track before (about 3 years ago). However, I quickly took it down because I realized that I had rushed it to the point there were glaring mixing errors that I wasn't happy with. Now, I've done this before with certain tracks but they usually never see that light of day again afterward. But, as I was looking through some of my old project files (I was trying to organize them for once in my life are you proud?) I stumbled across this again and actually really enjoyed the composition. So, I decided to completely re-do the mixing and mastering from scratch! 

For many of you, the changes might not be super noticeable but this actually took around 10 hours to clean everything up lol. I also made some changes to the instrumentation (switching out certain drum samples, pitching them up/down, or adding effects to some of the instruments) and even added a new melody to the very end of the track because I thought it fit better. You might think these are minor changes but I'm actually so incredibly satisfied with how this track sounds now. I think it might actually be my favorite track in terms of mixing and mastering at this point.

[Hiatus Explanation:]
In other news, I'm back from an extended hiatus. I took time off to focus on some mental health struggles that I've been wrestling with but I'm more or less back on my feet as of now. I won't be returning to my other social medias (Discord, Twitter, Instagram, Patreon etc.) but I will start uploading here and on SC again. I think a little space from interacting with folks directly is what I need atm as I've come to value my privacy quite a lot. (I'll still be active replying in the comments tho!) I just wanted to let you know why I have and might continue to disappear for extended periods of time lol. Thanks everyone for your understanding!

Hey y'all I'm back on my BS lmao. I was wanting to write another Fatal Error track but this time with a new melody instead of just a third remix of Code Red. This has been a track that has been sitting in my files for probably 3 or 4 years at this point although I had only really written the first 35 seconds or so. I wanted this track to be much darker and more intense than the last two which kind of gave off more "fun evil" vibes rather than "oh sh*t I'm in trouble" vibes hence the heavy af bassline. 

That being said this was definitely one of those tracks where I had to rewrite almost each of the sections multiple times because I couldn't get it to sound the way I wanted. 1:12 by far gave me the most trouble given that I have next to zero experience working with 808s or writing any kind of "trap" beat but I think it turned out okay! 😊 In total this track took about 9 hours so not too long all things considered and its for sure one of my favorite AU originals so far (Fatal Error is just really fun to write music for haha).

Sorry for this being a day early I just couldn't wait to upload this :3 I whipped up this thing after working for about 9 hours straight. I'm exhausted now xD It's been a while since I've remixed one of Shara's songs (the last attempt being Kyotovania which went horribly wrong :v) but I'm actually super proud of this one! o3o So excited to get to remix one of these songs. I'll probably be remixing a lot more of Shara's tracks (I might take a crack at 8-Bit-Blossom or Take Control)

This one took a bit longer to make especially since I've been pretty busy this week haha. But yeah, this took about 25 hours over the course of 3 weeks to finish up and I'm pretty satisfied with the end result. My remixes might actually start taking around 2-3 weeks to finish now since I'm noticing that the longer I'm able to work on a track, the better the end result is, not to mention putting out a new track every week is rather stressful :v But yeah, enough rambling, hope you enjoy ^^
