Heartache - Neku Remix

Hey y'all! I'm really happy to bring to you my contribution to the FALLEN album by Materia Collective, a remix of Bonetrousle from the beloved Undertale. 

This album took a lot of time to make, and I was so glad to take part in it, as stressful as it may have been at points. I had a simple electronic remix of Bonetrousle done from the first days, but as time passed and I got better, I decided it was bad, deleted it and started from scratch. This was my 3rd take actually, and I wanted to achieve something different. It was also done in the last 3 days before the submission deadline, so oh boy I worked my ass off. It went way better than expected, honestly. I hope it'll manage to rock your socks off, and be sure to check out the entire album (and maybe even buy it, it's SO worth it!).

This is probably my favorite original piece since Tick Tock ヽ(･∀･)ﾉ Its theme is post-apocalyptic, and has incredibly vague lyrics on how I'd write a song. It's more like, "Here's how I used to write music, before the world ended. All I'm left with now is a Toy Piano." 

It'd be impossible to compose the many parts of a song with a single toy piano. There'd be many unwritten melodies that would haunt me, and I would never be able to play them for you.

It'd be entertaining, no? (ノ・∀・)ノ

Sorry for this being a day early I just couldn't wait to upload this :3 I whipped up this thing after working for about 9 hours straight. I'm exhausted now xD It's been a while since I've remixed one of Shara's songs (the last attempt being Kyotovania which went horribly wrong :v) but I'm actually super proud of this one! o3o So excited to get to remix one of these songs. I'll probably be remixing a lot more of Shara's tracks (I might take a crack at 8-Bit-Blossom or Take Control)

Hoi! I started this one back in April and had it lying around, so I thought I'd finish it since spook month is coming up owo I had some fun playing with industrial drums, so I think I'll use those in future tracks too o3o

Probably the most frustrating part of this track was figuring out what mood I wanted it to be, and I ended up liking the contrast between the calmer parts and more aggressive chorus. Glad I didn't give up on this track like I wanted to though, sometimes you gotta stick with it and see where it goes o3o

This is my take on Battle Against a True Hero and Vs. Susie o3o I've been wanting to re-do BAATH since my original remix of it is pretty outdated. I also wanted to try out some new VST's I bought over the holidays (Iris2 & Trash2 for those who are wondering. They were like 90% of on Black Friday so like I just had to nab them! o3o) I was inspired to remix this track with Vs. Susie since I really loved Skybrivi’s remix of the song and wanted to do something like it (Also the birb’s been kicking my ass with his awesome remixes so I’ve gotta stand my ground ouo). Escapism made a cameo at 1:57 as well (for those of you that have been subbed to me for a while you’ll remember that track!). Also for those of you wondering this was another one of those tracks I wrote in a single night hi i have no life haha V:

[Deltarune Remix] Stormheart - True Heroes (Battle Against a True Hero x Vs. Susie)

Rather tame compared to some of my other works but I thought it was good to try something new o3o Started as a remix of "The Legend" but then it did its own thing lmao. So I decided to write lyrics for this one. Basically, the meaning of the track is Ralsei waiting alone in the dark for those mentioned in the prophecy and he's lonely in the empty Castle Town. With nobody to talk to he turns to the darkness and reaches out to it instead o3o Hopefully you can tell what's going on with the lyrics xD I debated whether or not to release this one since I'm really hard on myself when it comes to originals & I was unsure of the voice I made for Ralsei but I think its ok enough for youtube o3o I might write songs for the other peeps mentioned in the Deltarune prophecy (The Human and The Monster) mainly cause I need an excuse to do another remix of Susie's theme but also cause I think it might be a fun little project xD

One of my most complex Deltarune projects taking over 25 hours to complete over the course of 6 months. I went for a combination of grit with Chaos King and uplifting with Asgore's theme and brought them both together in an epic sounding mashup remix owo 1:36 was a bitch to transcribe btw V: There were many times where I just wanted to toss the project away because I didn't like where it was headed. In the end, I'm happy I decided to keep working on it little by little until I found a direction I was happy with o3o Sometimes you just gotta push through and see where things go.

[Deltarune Remix] Stormheart - Chaostrückung (Chaos King x Bergentrückung)

Hullo! I wasn't really sure what to do for Dream initially, but I guess that's how this original series has been going so far with each of these characters (｢･ω･)｢ I knew I wanted to do something with bells, a harpsichord, & piano somewhere etc, but I didn't want to write a track that was too mellow, at least not for these first attempts.  An uplifting progression was a natural choice, but I didn't want something that was too "happy go lucky" cheery as this track included part of Malevolence's melody (and could be a bit out of context if I were to style this track to be rainbows and unicorns, per say). I styled the drop at 1:00 to have more "2010 pop-sounding" lead with a lighter bassline, as I wanted the focus to be on the instruments rather than the bass in my other stuff. Overall took about 15 hours & am very happy with the result!◝(⁰▿⁰)◜

Recently remembered that Dreamtale was a thing that existed and so here we are lol. I wrote this track quite spontaneously as I really wasn't planning on doing a theme for Dream initially but that's kinda where it ended up leading xD I struggled quite a bit (with the mastering in particular) but Shara was kind enough to help me figure out how to use Maximus to boost the volume of my tracks to where they're loud enough for Spotify, Itunes etc. ( ́・ω・`)

In case you were wondering I chose to use art of Empireverse Dream for this vid since I've started becoming invested in that AM & also his design is just so cool aaaA- (give the artist all the love ouo) Overall this track took about 12 hours to write and gave me a chance to try out some new stuff I've added for my sound library so that's always a treat (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧
