Aliencore was conceived in 2006 in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Denis Kandle, born in Rio de Janeiro, lived in São Paulo for two years. Living in the giant cosmopolitan Brazilian city was the original inspiration. Kandle already produced electronic music with Colortronic back then, which was conceived in his native and colorful city Rio. São Paulo is rather a gray city, besides hosting dozens of great underground clubs. The sound of Aliencore was originally “infected” by this darker and harsher ambiance of São Paulo.

Sonic Rainbow, the first album by Colortronic, was released ten years ago, in 2007. To celebrate the tenth anniversary, Colortronic is releasing the remastered album of Sonic Rainbow (Tranceria Records).
