This is a hybrid bassdrum I made from two 808 and 909 samples 

My goal was to create a kick that combines the best of both worlds – the rich sub bass ooomph of the 808, and the powerful transient of the 909, which cuts through the mix much better than a soft 808.

I first used this kick on my 2020 Bedrock release "Burn Your Love" – check it out!

Denmark’s RDG follows his 2014 TUBA NYC EP with the 12” single, Solutions. The A-side fuses the deliberate, dramatic, and impressive lyrics from L.A.’s Ill Chill with bone chilling sub bass modulations and huge cavernous beats.The tone gets even darker on the B-side with Reverse Blank, a pulsing, stabby warehouse-shattering dropper. Cold mid frequency stabs masterfully drenched in reverb ring out alongside stacked drum hits. Gaze Ill gets the co-production credit with Cessman jumping on the buttons to finish this one off. Mesmerizing!

Born and raised in the cold northern Danish countryside, RDG was introduced to music from an early age through his father, and spent years as a kid collecting samples, playing with musical toys or listening to records.With his relocation to Copenhagen as a teenager, RDG immediately dove into the underground music scene and heavily involved himself in music production, organized underground raves and put on nights at bars and clubs to further promote local producers, MCs and DJs. 

Fast forward ten years and Ruben now successfully runs two record labels with over 40 releases combined, and has organized events at essentially every night club with a noteworthy soundsystem in Copenhagen, across multiple genres like dubstep, drum 'n' bass, techno, juke, garage, grime and many more. As a producer and DJ he has released and appeared on a handful of vinyl releases, toured North America and Europe, and has had his music featured on major public and pirate radio in the UK, US and Denmark.

"Two consecutive shots fired on Cue Line's digital series: 3WA follows up last year's "Immortal Combat" with three new smoulder sessions. "Entao" lets the undulating sub do all the talking the beats space themselves as far out as possible. Things get progressively heavier; "Weednesday" hints at the promise of a foggy sesh before dropping into a sharp, industrial strength groove while "Bye Bye" fuses elements of techno and UK funky into the mix with demolishing results. 3WA - Quarta-Feira (EP) - [CLNR019]

After the first successful record, Danish label front man ‘Gaze ill’ pursues another excursion through the ever-growing Dubstep-spectrum. He returns to his own physical outline of ‘Cue Line Records’ with four hefty cuts that surely make up another stellar record, however he’s not alone. Last time it was his partner in crime RDG, this time its frontline support from the Dutchman & bass mammoth ‘TMSV’, who’s given ‘Space-Time’ a completely different spin.
‘CLV002’ opens up with a serious wobbler: one that is reminiscent to the golden days of the fundamental Dubstep sound, but housed in a completely different straightjacket. It swiftly sets the pace, as the wobbles leak into the leading element of the destructive ‘Space-Time’. The second cut by the Danish producer adds the ‘step’ to Dub music so to speak – and lively resembles King Tubby on a Dubstep flex. Watch out for that naughty second drop, which holds nothing but booming vibrations that’ll hang fans upside down. ‘Spirit Of The Forces’ unveils an equally refreshing take on futuristic bass music all thanks to the creative structure of both low-and-high melodies. This allows listeners to take flight easily and fly away from what we call reality – an excellent track for both spring and summer time. TMSV’s spin-off is as bright as its forerunner, but far more up-tempo and hypnotic. Utrecht’s producer instigates a spacious stepper that defeats time & momentum by incorporating his raw remix techniques. The right remixer for the right record: Cue Line Records at its best!
