This lead note/chord at the start of the measure here has been driving me nuts reminding me of a certain sound effect I couldn't quite put my finger on, and only after combing through UT/DR's sounds did it hit me that I was thinking of the hurt/death sfx from VVVVVV.

This concept could lend it's self to some earthshattering geno dialog about Asriel needng to step up and be a hero again

This may come as a surprise to people who weren't aware that I uploaded the original version of this song on @emihead with the news that this AU had been effectively cancelled.
I've decided that I don't want to can it entirely, but I don't have the time, energy, or motivation to make a full 101-song soundtrack anymore.
With that said, I may make a FEW more songs for it, but the whole "soundtrack order" thing is being thrown out of the window. I'll likely be sticking to "big" songs that I personally find interesting.

This track was fun but also tiring to work on because, unlike every other track so far, I didn't do this one on FL Studio. Instead, I opted on using Famitracker for the true FM experience. Working with tracker limitations was indeed a challenge, but it also gave me the chance to do more creative stuff for this mix. Hope you like it!
