Alongside the likes of Malaa, Dombresky, Mercer, Habstrakt, and Tchami, Dustycloud represents a surging French force that is making an indelible mark on the progression of house music in Europe and beyond.

With ‘Represent’, I wanted to follow ‘Thing’ up with something a bit harder-hitting to round out the EP. I was having fun with the bounce and groove of the track and playing around with vocal chops, when I started to hear “Represent for the brothers who ain’t here” in the vocals. It really resonated with me and had me thinking, ‘yea I’ve got to keep holding it down for my friend, E’. Along with that, I wanted it to pay homage and respect to everyone who has influenced my sound and life across the board.
