Fake Leather is a genre-bending, experimental hardcore punk group formed in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Virginia, they draw inspiration from the Richmond hardcore scene and the bands that passed through it. Blending a traditional hardcore punk foundation with elements of electronic and heavy rap music, Fake Leather delivers a hard-hitting punch. Seamlessly mixing 808 drums, heavy guitars, and distorted melodic vocals, Fake Leather carries the torch passed along by all the bands before them that have chipped away at genre barriers.
