“Unshuffle” is the solo debut album by Seiki K.Calaf. It was born with the specific mission of satisfying a series of musical and creative concerns that had accumulated in his subconscious during the first decade of the 00’s. 
As a musician and producer, but above all as an apprentice, Seiki was involved in several groups of the alternative Hardcore/Punk scene in Barcelona such as Quantum Theory, DJVU, MTH, Seals or LaFrus. 
Finally, after a period as a soloist, he decided to give shape to all those ideas that remained stored in his creative and personal chest and in a totally autonomous way he began to forge the foundations of his solo project Stound and his album “Unshuffle”. A project that would have as its main maxims autonomy and the ability to creatively develop itself without depending on anyone (or almost anyone). 
Under the DIY self-production model, Seiki K. has been the composer, producer, performer and mixing engineer of “Unshuffle”, leaving the performance and recording of drums to Chris Brush, a drummer and producer based in Nashville, TN, as well as the mastering of the album to mastering engineer Victor Garcia.
 “Unshuffle” stands out musically for maintaining a Post-HC/Emo sound found mainly in the first decade of the 2000s and highly influenced by bands such as Further Seems Forever, Hey Mercedes! or Small Brown Bike. The very name of the album is nothing more and nothing less than a fantastic re-invention of the “Shuffle” or “Random Mode” button found on today’s digital music players, paying a small tribute to the great pleasure of being able to listen to a musical work from beginning to end and having the feeling that each and every one of the songs that make up it are bathed in the same color and play an essential and specific role as a group.

Stound is the solo project of Seiki K. Calaf, born from his need to explore sounds close to Post/HC and Emo, mainly influenced by the late 90s and early 2000s. Throughout his career, Seiki has been part of various bands, including DJVU, Quantum Theory, LaFrus, and Seals. However, it is with his album "Unshuffle" (Stound, 2025) that he has crafted a distinctive and personal musical line, characterized by an ordered chaos, where the delicate rays of sunlight always manage to pierce through the darkest of cracks.
