New Delhi Based artist - Bønehead - boldly embraces his genre-fluid approach to music with ‘Pulp Fictiøn’

- Where pop meets dance, trance meets breaks, electro meets bass and techno meets ghetto.

The New Delhi–based, multifaceted, and genre-fluid artist returns to his homegrown label with a new concept EP titled Pulp Fictiøn. Taking inspiration from the film, the EP features four intertwining tales (tracks) that revolve around the artist’s experiences, motives, and state of mind.

“I’m no longer catering to ‘Techno Enthusiasts’ or ‘Bass-heads.’ I made this for people who can appreciate music without trying to fit it into a box or a playlist.”

Electro riffs, chopped vocals, hypnotic breaks, and classic bass grooves—all thematically linked together by one life, one story, spanning 21 minutes and 34 seconds, that define ‘Bønehead’......for now.

Inkline has been making all types of waves over the last year, with well recieved releases across many respected platforms and and a tonne of high level radio support. This track entitled 'Hideout' showcases everything Inkline is about, with his uniquely techy approach to bass music coming into play. It's always an absolute pleasure to welcome back original Southpoint veterans to the 'Introducing' channel. For those that aren't aware, Drax and Ceezus are two of the original 140 crew, both appearing on 'Southpoint Presents, Vol. 1' and putting together numerous EPs over the years. After a brief hiatus from the pair, we see them combine with some serious flair here on a brand new original collaboration entitled 'Oozaru'. The pair channel their uniquely melodic styles perfectly in twain as we are greeted by a stream of soaring harmonic structures and colourful soundscapes, linked together with high energy drum work and a real sense of wavy nostalgia.

After a few days of rain and murky weather, the sun is finally back out and what better way to celebrate than with this brand new, topper top UKG release, dropping today on Skillz' celebrated Strictly House And Garage imprint. The EP's lineup is ridiculous, with an original mix from Leeds-based showstopper Joedan and remixes from Soulecta, Blakk Habit and Moony, plus a huge collab with MOAD, as M.O.A.D.A.N, on the B-side. This one does what it says on the tin; it's all sunny vibes, conjuring imagery of better days, BBQ's, warm breeze and festival debauchery. As a collective work & EP, we haven't quite seen a more impressive lineup in quite a while, and that's testament to Joedan, the remixers, the label & Skillz himself as a renowned boss and A&R. Groover.
