Past the intro the track evolves and fuses elements of UK Bass and Dubstep together perfectly with intense growls, rolling drums with pitch shifting fills and hard, thick snares before switching up the second drop for 4x4 drums and huge amounts of energy, “Resonate” does exactly what it says on the tin with no half measures '

Back once again with Articulate, almost 2 years on from his first ever release with the brand and more recently his critically-acclaimed EP “Tektonix”, Daze Prism is back with his phenomenal single and remix package “2005”. With his extensive and hugely desirable sound design and musicality on display for all to see, there are not many in the scene that can intwine quality with quantity, something Daze epitomises. His latest installment “2005” encompasses a refreshing and inventive original and VIP of the title track along with 3 diverse remixes spanning the likes of Breakbeat, UK Funky and UK Bass from names new and old.

"Daze Prism” does his own variation in production and completely flips the track for a new one, bringing a dark intro with transposed vocals and garage-influenced drums before going deep and spacey with reverby, chopped up vocals leading up to a stompy drop, mixing up elements of breaks and ukg with ridiculous levels of sound design, something Daze has clearly an abundance of."

Inkline has been making all types of waves over the last year, with well recieved releases across many respected platforms and and a tonne of high level radio support. This track entitled 'Hideout' showcases everything Inkline is about, with his uniquely techy approach to bass music coming into play. We hear crispy bass tones take the lead and sharp drum patterns smash vibrant rhythms together behind along with a high end synth instrument adding a finesse layer of texture.

Following on from the huge success of Compute Riddim w/ Killa P & Badness we had to get 9TRANE back on board for 1FGRM002 with his newest track for us entitled ‘Assault’ which came out March 5th and was supported by Toddla T on BBC Radio 1. Appletize is the follow up single from this release as a free download. Initially a dub for the 140 maestro's sets, the reaction the bootleg of this UK Funky classic had was huge so we thought we should give it away for the masses to enjoy. Yet more support coming from Toddla T (BBC Radio 1) as well as Marcus Nasty (Rinse FM), Travis T (Radar Radio), Benteki (Reprezent) & Shapes to name a few.

Since his last release with us in June 2017 he’s continued to supply DJ’s with the heat with further plays across Radar Radio, BBC 1Xtra & Reprezent Radio. The Norwich producer has also had another release entitled ‘Skeleton’ on the south coast’s critically acclaimed Southpoint. Having performed at one of the largest underground festivals of 2017, ‘Trajections Festival’ (Bristol) he heated up the dance for the likes of Jammz, Big Zuu & Jack Dat which lead to further bookings back home alongside Champion & Murlo. He also joined us for the 1st time in Leeds at our takeover for UP4 at Mint Warehouse in November.

The start of 2018 see’s 9TRANE back in the 1Forty realms despite discovering his love for UK Funky which you may see an original release of from him on the Label later this year..

It's always an absolute pleasure to welcome back original Southpoint veterans to the 'Introducing' channel. For those that aren't aware, Drax and Ceezus are two of the original 140 crew, both appearing on 'Southpoint Presents, Vol. 1' and putting together numerous EPs over the years. After a brief hiatus from the pair, we see them combine with some serious flair here on a brand new original collaboration entitled 'Oozaru'. The pair channel their uniquely melodic styles perfectly in twain as we are greeted by a stream of soaring harmonic structures and colourful soundscapes, linked together with high energy drum work and a real sense of wavy nostalgia.

After a few days of rain and murky weather, the sun is finally back out and what better way to celebrate than with this brand new, topper top UKG release, dropping today on Skillz' celebrated Strictly House And Garage imprint. The EP's lineup is ridiculous, with an original mix from Leeds-based showstopper Joedan and remixes from Soulecta, Blakk Habit and Moony, plus a huge collab with MOAD, as M.O.A.D.A.N, on the B-side. This one does what it says on the tin; it's all sunny vibes, conjuring imagery of better days, BBQ's, warm breeze and festival debauchery. As a collective work & EP, we haven't quite seen a more impressive lineup in quite a while, and that's testament to Joedan, the remixers, the label & Skillz himself as a renowned boss and A&R. Groover.
