It's been a hot minute since Southpoint co-founder KXVU touched down on the 'Introducing' platform, but we are super excited to have him back for a real 140 shellout as he fuses dubstep and grime themes together in 'Gorgonites'. Known for his highly rhythmic production style, KXVU smashes together lively percussive melodies with shimmering sub tones, native woodwind themes, twisting eastern string riffs and lethal morgue licks for a spicy steppers cocktail. With another experimental EP in the works for 2019, there appears to be no slowing KXVU as he continues to explore the full depth of UK bass music.

As one of our favourite MCs on the grime circuit, Jabz has gained a rapid following, generating serious props for his expressive vocal movement and energetic live performance. We welcome him to the 'Introducing' channel for this more mellow collaboration with MoJoe entitled 'Different Lives'. Jabz gets busy with serious swagger, projecting a range of emotive lyrics and skippy flow patterns, adding a whole new side to MoJoe's 'On Da Rhodes' instrumental, that was previously released on the channel in 2017.

As we draw towards the end of 2018, we are proud to have amassed such a stunning collection of originals here on the 'Introducing' channel. We truly believe that musical variation is everything, and are therefore thrilled to bring you this heater from Dunman. Through a clever combination of grimey influences and early dubstep themes, he brings forward 'Desert Eagle', a gnarly roller designed to bring the energy up on any 140 set. From the off we are greeted with cheeky horn stabs and grizzly LFOs, calling and responding in melody to bring a real natural 'dip and weave' to the whole affair.

After the fantastic response from his ‘ELY’ release in October, we felt it was only right to squeeze IVO in for one more belter for the 'Introducing' platform before the year was out. He returns in top form, continuing down his dubwise direction on this new single entitled ‘PNY’. As always with IVO, we are treated to some real classy sub work, manipulating bass frequencies in perfect motion to send shockwaves around the dance. When these powerful LFOs are combined with some exciting drum expansions and delicious use of reverberated space, you end up with a spicy steppers combo, perfect to warm up the woofers as our final single giveaway of 2018. We would like to thank all of you who have supported the channel into our second year and we are super excited to unleash what we have in store for 2019.

As a producer, Albzzy has gone from strength to strength, honing is style into a stripped back, pulsating dark bass phenomenon, finding a unique niche within a crowded marketplace. On the other side, Dread MC has solidified himself further as THE 'go-to guy' for vocal performances in the bass scene, nailing numerous releases throughout the last few years, including two heavyweight drops under the Southpoint flag. The pair combine with tremendous results on 'Get The Strap': a subtle rolling stomper, breathing sumptuously crunchy bass movements, groovy rhythms and exciting vocal inputs, perfect for dances of any kind. As a producer and DJ, Elivo has been honing his sound for the last year or so, carefully crafting it into a perfect representation of himself.
