In June 2015 we launched the Night Bass label, and that was the last time bass house pioneer Chris Lorenzo graced our catalog with his untouchable production. The badman from Birmingham finally returns to Night Bass with two relentless, high-energy heaters. “Foot & Mouth” conjures uncontrollable desires to reload with it’s neck snapping bass, and shells continue to fly with the bass-face inducing “Nightmares”.

It's been a long time coming but we are super excited to be announcing Brighton’s own Duke to the 'Introducing' platform. Known for his uniquely witty and layered style of grime lyricism, Duke has been making a name for himself at a rapid rate, cementing himself as one of the south's hottest vocal prospects for 2018. Here we see him team up with Jakebob and Lingerz for his official vocal version of 'Dusties' which is entitled 'La Pandilla'. In this recording, Duke paints a picture of the family ethic within the Southpoint camp, using innovative wordplay to incorporate a large selection of the familia into the lyrics. You can be sure to see a lot more of Duke under the Southpoint banner in 2018.

2019 see’s Fish open his 1Forty account with a Funky/Bass hybrid built around a D Double E sample taken from the modern day Grime classic ‘MUD’ featuring Capo Lee.

You may or may not know it, but Fish has been a pilar of the Bass Music scene over the past decade. Having first dabbled in production at the tender age of 11, he’s been involved with music for longer than most. From running Rood FM between 2010 and 2015 to starting various record labels and online blogs there’s almost no aspect of music Fish hasn’t been involved with.

Fast forward to 2019 and his list of accolades is enough to make your eyes water. From playing to 30,000 people on Bang Hai Towers at BoomTown to frequent appearances at Outlook Festival in Croatia, the infamous Fabric club, and numerous headline shows overseas, the Bristolian is well travelled to put it lightly. It’s no surprise there’s a mountain of reputable Labels he has released on; such as Zinc’s Bingo Bass imprint, Roska’s Kick’s & Snares, The Stanton Warriors world renowned Punks, Tumble Audio, Formula, Four40, Saucy, Yosh, and thats just the tip of the iceberg.

Add all of this to consistent highly praised reviews in Mixmag including a 10/10 as well as collaborations with the likes of Deekline, Holy Goof, General Levy & MC Navigator, his discography is enough to cement his place as a staple in the scene alone. Support on his music comes far and wide from the likes of Dirtybird’s Claude VonStroke and Night Bass’s AC Slater stateside, to BBC Radio 1’s Mr Steezy - Toddla T.
