LIMA, a young and up-and-coming DJ and producer, based in Rotterdam and part of the label Clinical Records( @clinical-records-nl ). Known for his deep, eclectic taste and a relentless passion for crate-digging, LIMA brings an authentic, underground vibe that sets him apart from the crowd. 

What began as a hobby in 2020 quickly evolved into a full-blown passion. LIMA's journey into the world of electronic music grew as he began spinning vinyl.

Mix number 15... a big one!

For the penultimate mix of this year, we have something very nice for you! With the last Clinical Records party that we organised called ‘A Night at the Clinic’, we had a live set from the Bavel Brothers (our head doctor Ben Diggins and his brother Sebastiaan van Bavel). Sebastiaan is known in the jazz scene as an amazing piano player and Ben we already know ;) They have something very special going on, as they both play live keys while Ben is also DJ’ing the set. This way, they can both improvise live on all the tracks and also create some new tracks on the spot with loops and improvisation.

Triphouse Rotterdam Podcast 015: LIMA

This mix is curated for Fluid Funk, a Rotterdam based label for soulful electronic music. This mix will therefore consist of Soulful House music and anything that comes close to this.

In this mix, Ben Diggins will showcase a warm and funky sound from my record collection that will fit nicely with the sound of Fluid Funk. It will resemble the style that I used for my upcoming release with them. It will mostly contain tracks from the 90s and early 2000s, with some new stuff and plenty of own productions in there.
