RADIO:TRAUMA 020: RAIIKA

RAIIKA is a DJ, Producer And Sound Designer from New Mexico, soon to be based in Los Angeles. It's production and DJing focuses on pushing audio signals to their outermost limits, focusing on tearing apart and reconstructing club, ambient and experimental sounds. Their DJing practice is focused within the worlds of Harsh Noise and Deconstructed Club, creating crossbreeds of experimental hardcore sounds which evoke a dark, brutal catharsis. It's production has been circulating all over the underground electronic world - it recently released a remix compilation of it and moth.sanctuary's track BADGIRLSPIT featuring remixes from names such as Malice Doll, xxHardbit3s and Alparr. Raiika's DJing practice has brought it around southwest america - it is soon to play a rave called NO ONE DIGS THEIR OWN GRAVE, a benefit for Palestine. It is also releasing an new EP on November 8th, packed full of experimental and evil sounds.

For RADIO:TRAUMA's 20th edition, RAIIKA has unleashed a tour-de-force in experimental hardcore, feautring industrial sounds, deconstructed club, and more, even borrowing from the Midsommar OST. Nothing can prepare you for this one; you've never heard anything like it.

Lux18 (@lux18), Paris-born/based, draws quick and precise for his first outing on Body Motion - presenting an exquisite shard in Right On Time which fuses the edges of post-symphonic, trap, emo, deconstructed club, and hyperpop. Resulting is a sound which is elegiac, unabashed, cheeky, and full in its resonant weight - Right On Time harkens a forthcoming LP for Body Motion, which will land in June. 

Closely tied to Brussels’ underground scene known for its cross-disciplinary approach and unfiltered energy, Lux18’s practice spans DJ sets, live performance, and production; since 2021 he has co-run Todo Recto, his label which focuses on forward-leaning club mutations and experimental/dark ambient. With regular appearances at Kiosk and LYL Radio, Horst, and C12, his debut LP reflects this trajectory—shaped by experimentation, rooted in the club.

Due to a recent law in Hungary, made to limit the right of assembly, amongst other minorities, the LGBTQ community and Budapest Pride face uncertain times.
The only answer to this, is to unite and let our voices be heard.
We need to safeguard queer spaces.

Electronic music has always been a safe space for the queer community, so we're launching a compilation in solidarity with Budapest Pride on the 28th of June, 2025.
