In an era where "less is more" ShaMel, who currently resides in Orlando, Fl by way of Inwood, Ny, delivers vivid stories with an east coast flow and down south bounce over beats produced by himself. Deep rooted In spirituality, the young emcee coins himself has saying that he, makes music to "motivate, inspire and bring fourth change". As first born son of Producer/DJ JaFinesse from the "Kings of Pressure", ShaMel was destined to be musically inclined. His first recorded record was around 5 years old in his fathers basement. In an attempt to merge his natural artistic abilities Into a brand and a business, ShaMel went to Full Sail University where he graduated with a degree in recording arts and thus became to mold his talents into a well oiled self sufficient machine.

In 2010, ShaMel released his first mixtape titled "Long Time Coming", while attending Florida A&M University. The tape was a passion project mixed by his long time friend "Sha Blackk" in their dorm room. After receiving great feedback, Sha began performing at open mic nights and passing out his CD's around Florida State's Campus.
In 2013, ShaMel released his 2nd Mixtape titled, "The Exhale". The project was written, recorded and mixed entirely by the young emcee and through hard work and perseverance, Sha was able to reach "Watch the Throne" producer and collaborator "88-keys".
However in 2016 ShaMel realized that he needed more resources and education to take his skills and his dream to the next level. He got rid of his SP-1200 beat machine for a portable MPC beat machine and headed to Full Sail University. Full Sail was able to help mold the young artist into a brand and taught him how to start his business. After Graduating In June 2018, ShaMel began to release new material produced, written and recorded by himself. Along with his skillfully new crafted sound, Sha began releasing hand drawn cover art, finally finding a way to merge all of his artistic abilities together onto one canvas
