Ess Be is a hip hop beatmaker and Selector based out of Lansing, MI. His favorite producers include the late great J Dilla, Timbaland, Just Blaze, The Neptunes, Dr. Dre, and Pete Rock. Through his music you'll hear inspirations from a variety of music including R&B, LoFi, Experimental, House,Soul, Funk, Future Bass, Chill, Trap and the list goes on. Ess Be operates by the motto "No Sound Left Behind" as it relates to how he artfully bends and blends different genres to create something unique yet familiar.

Passionate about music and vinyl records. Fascinated with music from an early age. Under the influence of primarily rich electronic sounds, such as, idm, dark techno minimal, dark electronica, atmospheric techno ... Unlimited by just one style. An explorer of new musical meanders to enrich her own sound. In her free time, she deals with photography and designs covers art.

It's real and ethereal at the same time. It's creative expression thanks to imagination, it's ineffable, it's the only universal language of human being, it's emotion, ordered but always different, formal without form, it's mathematically organized but still the highest expression of freedom. It's art because art is never perfect. There is never perfect symmetry, absolute harmony. Harmonics, chords, the circle of fifths, the timbre. 
They all represent this magical imperfection.

MUSIC is the highest form of art because, unlike the other arts, you can't really see the object like in a paint but through notes you can imagine everything you want. More than an art is an incessant and primordial need, an obsession. Maybe the most beautiful of human obsessions.

I make music. And that's pretty much it, I guess.
