Multipurpose is an audiovisual installation and a digital EP-release by composers and friends Marie Louise Buch and Anja Tietze Lahrmann, showcased in an old gunpowder house in Copenhagen, November 2017. 
Interested in how to create narratives from documentary material, Buch and Lahrmann traveled to Japan to record sounds from the urban and rural surroundings. The subsequent processing of the recordings resulted in an EP made up of six compositions blending pop tunes and ambient jams, shifting back and forth between vacuum and movement.

All compositions written and recorded by Multipurpose. 
Mixed by Multipurpose and Anders Bach Pedersen.
