After coming off the release of 'Perestroika,' one of last year’s best collaborative LP’s alongside the legendary O.C., underground rap stalwart Apathy returns with a vengeance with the debut leak, “Alien Weaponry,” which serves as the debut leak off his long awaited sixth solo LP, 'The Widow’s Son.'

The CT native is straight-up coming for the head of anyone who’s ever doubted him on the Nottz produced banger. Throughout the track, we’re treated to one bravado-laden gem after another, including lines like: “You outgunned/ Outshined/ Must be out your mind/ Raps is putrid/ Ap is stupid/ Slap the fluid out your spine.” 

The snarling banger also boasts crazy pop-culture references that seamlessly fit into the overarching theme of “If you thought Ap was going to hang it up soon, you’ve clearly lost your damn mind.” So whether he’s referencing Stranger Things, Opio (of Souls of Mischief), or Freddy Krueger, you damn-well better be taking him seriously. 

After all, Ap is clever enough to include a slick Organized Konfusion reference on this track while having a member of the legendary duo (Pharoahe Monch) appear on his upcoming masterpiece. 'The Widow’s Son' is also set to feature Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Buckwild, M.O.P., Celph Titled, and more.

This Was Supposed to Be Fun, the debut LP (and second ofﬁcial offering) from EPIC BEARD MEN, is an indie-rap tour de force by two of the underground's ﬁnest; SAGE FRANCIS and B. DOLAN. This album knocks. It parties with disreputable outlaws in truck stops. It blends the classic sounds of breakbeats and timeless drum machines with soul grooves and sub bass. Guitars, violins, and a goddamn brass band have sat in before the party's over. On the vocal side of things, more than a few lyrical heavyweights drop in to take their turn on the mics.

“Hedges”, the first single, is a haunting character study in suburban alienation and the collapse of the psychic bonds that used to constitute the great American neighborhood. Sage and B take turns spitting the chorus, like they’re shouting across empty, manicured lawns.
