This weeks podcast comes from an ex-Sydney local now residing in Adelaide; Jonathan Bennett otherwise known as Fox. Hearing the Slow Burn 2 a mix he put together a couple of months ago that was an incredibly beautiful musical journey we got in touch to see if he'd prepare one for Let The People Dance. The picture will look familiar to a lot of Sydney dancers as the top deck on Agwa Yacht Club. This particular one the Hot Natured cruise where Lee Foss and Jamie Jones headlined. Fox... Then Smith & Fox with Brohn who put together the stunning podcast 008 for us. Their sunset set that day was just perfect. Oh how we looked forward to every Sydney Summer and the Agwa Yacht Club season. This picture is an example of what we'd love to still be able to do in Sydney. Dance at sunset to awesome music on a boat during Summer with all our friends. Sounds like fun right?! Unfortunately this is no longer allowed to be a ticketed event in Sydney so Agwa Yacht Club is no longer a thing we can do which is such a shame. The memories live on in us though. Man they were good! The likes of Luciano, Damien Lazarus, Dixon, Heidi, Guti, Matthew Dear, Claude Von Stroke and so many more alongside some awesome Sydney locals made us dance around the stunning Sydney Harbour with smiles from ear to ears every Summer for 5 years. Great times.

This week we bring a mix made by Elka , aka ESB aka Logic Systems, producer from Vancouver. Elka is a producer who have been pretty active this last years with a really peculiar and diverse production style. He released music in labels such as 1080p or Ghost89, bringing some intense freshness to the Vancouver scene.

Elka is soon releasing a record in the Canadian label "Heart to Heart", where he shares half of the record with D.Tiffany (Dj Zozi), keep an eye on it.

In the mix we can appreciate different music genres floating from Disco to Funk, House and Jungle, an eclectic selection where we can see his interesting DJ facet, also his references as a producer. Like he told us, it’s a mix made with tracks that he specially likes recorded with simple transitions.

Last July after our Lovebox debut we brought the party back to Farringdon. It's a night that's burned into our memories which has a lot to do with the masterly command that Jackmaster (aka Jack Revill) held over Room Two. Throughout the session he worked the system, hard. Between his next level collection of disco, house and harder reaches of four four and his adept flow, something a bit magic went down.

None of you realised it then, but it was when our new Pioner Pro Audio system was settling into Room Two giving Revill a fresh level of sound to play with. It was more a little historic for us and still in stands up as one of those nights when it all came together and went next level.

So, we're extra happy to re-live some of this experience with this 40 minute excerpt (hand-picked by the don himself) ahead of Jackmaster's return to Farringdon this weekend. It’s the perfect prelude to the kind of quality of selection and delivery the Glaswegian talent will bring to Room One this coming Saturday, when he’s slated to close out the night.
