The Filter Saturation is the perpetual one man band project of me, Brian Anderson. It encompasses all of the music that I've either written totally for myself or as a demo for other acts. I play drums, percussion, keyboards, guitar, bass (kinda), sing, and various other instruments.

Genres tend to be all over the place. Whatever I'm in the mood for at that particular time. I tried to date the titles of the pieces to show when they were actually written. A lot of this stuff is pretty rough.

In 2003 the band debuted its first full length release Nocturne recorded at Clayton Studios in St. Louis, the sessions were produced by Adam Long. The 10 tracks showcased the groups dynamic range of high energy indie rock with tracks like ANTHEM and AMITY STREET as well as their interpretive flair for atmospheric and dark edged arrangements like LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT and WISH. Lyrically these songs drew upon influences from literary classics like Edgar Allan Poe's "The Premature Burial" as well as cinema stars like Lon Chaney. Their second CD FRAMING THE ENDLESS SKY was recorded at IBS Studios and engineered by Ken Keller. Far different influences were at work both musically and lyrically, the bands interest in the NYC punk movement of the 70's comes to light with their tribute to the late great Johnny Thunders in POST PUNK, collaberative efforts on behalf of founding band members Christopher and Jeremy pushed into new sonic territories with progressive rock numbers like WORLD I MADE. Percussionist Jereny Gunter made the first of his outstanding solo contributions with REMAINS a number the band continues to close their high energy live shows with. Currently the band is finishing tracks for what will be their third full length release, with songs ranging in topics from contract killings, addiction, and the supernatural era of the Victorian Spiritualist Mediums.

I am a Singer songwriter and a carpenter..I Love Music and am fortunate enough to get to play with some great players and people.I have played 450 or more live shows and couldn't live any other way.I have opened for a handful of big names like Cracker,and Aaron Lewis from Staind,Jack Russell from Great White  and Devon Allman Honey Tribe anyhow i feel lucky to have some music and a few records out for people...Hope to see you at a show...Buy a shirt and a coozie wouldya
