From minimal to deep house with sharp hats, raw basslines, and groovy drums. The set was recorded at Skullbar Athens using two Pioneer 700 CDJs, an Allen & Heath Xone 92 mixer, and a Donner Echo Square mini pedal. It was recorded in Logic Pro X via a Lexicon Alpha sound card.

Spin Alonga is inspired by the island of "Spinalonga", near my hometown in Crete. According to Venetian documents, the name of the island originated from the Greek expression "στην Ελούντα", "stin Elounda" (meaning "to Elounda"). The Venetians could not understand the expression so they familiarized it using their own language, and called it spina "thorn" longa "long", an expression that was also maintained by the locals. The Venetians were inspired for this expression by the name of an island near Venice called by the same name and which is known today as the island of Giudecca.

Stratos is an Athens-based DJ known for his dynamic sets across house, techno, and minimal. A resident at Skullbar Athens, his sound ranges from deep and hypnotic to bright and driving. With appearances at Berlin’s Sisyphos and Rotbart, Stratos brings groovy, percussive energy wherever he plays.

Vasilis Vathis, aka HER.S, is a 25 year old DJ/producer from Greece.

His passion for music evolved through the years, and finally in the age of 23 he decided to share this passion with the world, by playing music as a Resident dj and a guest in numerous clubs around Athens.

HER.S music style is based on a philosophy and not on a music genre in particular. His goal is to create musical landscapes  where time doesn’t exist and dancing is the main form of expression . His sound is an assemblage of deep, progressive and afro house, focused on percussive elements  and captivating melodies. Regardless of tempo or genre, there is a sense of mysticism mixed in with various organic, melodic, and progressive components in his sets. He balances rhythm and harmony, charm and depth, dreaminess and splendour with a confident synergy that is unique and unparalleled. His musical stories enthrall and transport his listeners on a warm and uplifting voyage into their wilderness, raising their spirits with majestic beauty while grounding their bodies with prominent and pounding bass.
