LIFESTYLE MUSIC return from their trip down under and the much-acclaimed 'Australian Connection' LP, with the first retrospective release in the long span of their consistent quest to unearth fresh sonics. LIFESTYLE REMIXED PART 1 sees pivotal Lifestyle tracks from SIGNAL, ILL TRUTH, ARKITECH and REVAUX remixed by VORSO, LOCKJAW, REVAUX and ARKITECH respectively.

Revaux's remix of Arkitech's 'Convulsion' takes the percussive vigor of the original down and steps up the intensity through depth, delivering a bass-driven future roller with a delicious sleekness. Moving in the opposite direction, Lockjaw lifts Ill Truth's '26' from the depths and into the minimalist's corner of the jump-up realm, issuing some nasty squelch dripping with debauched technology. The frenetic and penetrative percussion of Revaux's 'Head First' gets mutated into a heavy stepper by Arkitech, whilst one of Signal's breakout tunes 'Indirect' is brutally evolved in a halfstepper of towering proportions by one of the most exciting forces in electronica - Vorso.

With these 4 reimagined slices of intricately built audio, each artist has transformed and evolved their target with deep skill and love for the source material, resulting in a release that brings new freshness to already timeless tracks. Lifestyle Music continue to display a refined taste for exquisitely created forms of drum & bass, providing a true platform to nurture creativity within the genre.
