Natalie Patton is a singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California.

An indie-pop singer-songwriter too clever for her own good, and influenced by a theatrical background, she has a natural flair for evocative and intimate lyrics. Natalie grew up in Houston, picking up piano, ukulele, and guitar along the way. She spent time honing her craft in Austin, before relocating to Los Angeles. Natalie’s writing is heavily influenced by 50’s and 60’s pop mixed with a Phoebe-Bridgers-modern-troubadour sensibility. Natalie's lyrics echo in your mind long after the song has ended. 

Granted, in 2020, Natalie hadn’t written anything worth sharing in months while suffering under the hopelessness of quarantine with no end in sight. with nothing to lose, she decided to try something called /personal accountability/, and gave herself a challenge: write a song every day, record it for TikTok, and post it, no matter what. this exercise in letting go of perfection was a success: at the end of August, Natalie had written 30 songs, and remembered what drew her to music in the first place: telling stories.

Natalie developed her upcoming releases in Winter 2020 almost exclusively from her bedroom studio. In addition to co-writing with Austin’s best indie-pop songwriter Sammi Yarto, she collaborated extensively with producer Dale Penner. These singles feature bassist Bill Santana, guitarist Sean Ashby, and saxophonist Eli Bennett, with additional vocals by Jake Bardin.
