I’m a London-based songwriter and lyricist whose work is rooted in emotional honesty and storytelling. Best known for my impromptu singing and song-writing performances on Big Brother UK, I now step forward as a recording artist, not to reclaim fame, but to reckon with it.

My debut single "Play It Again" blends Hip-Hop/R&B sensibilities with drum and bass textures creating a genre departure that mirrors the tension within the story it tells. Delivered in a soft, Rap-Pop vocal style, the track is a confessional apology to the one beautiful soul who stood by me during the chaos and scrutiny of sudden fame.
Hey there! I'm Darnell, a London-based songwriter with a passion for crafting songs tailored for sync and pitching opportunities. As a freelance songwriter, music producer, and studio manager, I wear multiple hats to bring music to life.

Beyond the studio, I'm deeply involved in empowering others through music. I lead workshops in a young offenders' institution, offering free studio time to those reentering society. I extend this support to individuals seeking solace in music, regardless of their financial circumstances, all fostered by the connections I've built through networking and my commitment to integrity.

My journey started early, with a childhood love for literature that blossomed into a knack for writing. This early passion merged seamlessly with my fascination for 90's R&B, leading me to explore singing in choirs and talent shows.

High school marked a pivotal phase where I embraced hip-hop, expanding my creative horizon while appreciating diverse music genres like country and pop. Today, my songwriting prowess draws from this rich tapestry of experiences, complemented by my upbringing in different cultures and communities due to my military background and global travels.

My skill set spans vocals, lyrics, melody creation, and recording in Logic Pro X. I bring expertise in arrangement, light mixing, vocal production, and project management to every project. While I excel as an artist, I often step into the role of an executive producer, steering projects to success.

Grm Skl’s 11 Track Debut E.P entitled “The Assignment” is an embodiment of everything that is grime. At a time where the genre is reaching new heights this one really sets a high bar for a debut release.

With the completion of #TheAssignment, members Lady Shocker (Formerly Wolf Pack) and Jon E Clayface (Wave Gang) have left the collective to focus on their own solo careers leaving the E.P as a legacy of the re emergence of grime. The remaining 4 Members continue to represent Grm Skl and are working on lots of exciting projects to come in the future.

W.A.V.E are an urban music collective hailing from the grimey streets of the South East London. The group consists of 5 Members and they are Ten Dixon,  Snoopa, Charlie Trees, Shannon Parkes and Rhimez. Together they form an elite crew of Mc’s, Producers and Dj’s, the collective has been developing alongside the grime scene since early 2005.

   W.A.V.E’ have created a new sound encapsulating their rebellious wavy lifestyle. Every member is unique but also a vital element of the groups essence. They bring a new “energy control” to the genre which hasn’t been seen before, crowds have been sent crazy mosh pitting at Live performances.

   After time in the dojo perfecting their arts, W.A.V.E are now making a huge impact on the scene in all areas and have gained a strong place on more and more playlists. W.A.V.E are pirate radio regulars at such stations as Radar Radio, Mode FM, De Ja Vu, Flex and the list goes on. The crew have also made ground on the mainstream radio circuit performing live on BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network, Rinse FM and Reprezent radio to name a few.
   W.A.V.E have supported such artists as Mike Skinner, Kano, Dj Spooky, Devlin, Sir Spyro, Dot Rotten and Scrufizzer. The collective has also featured in videos from Lord of the Mics, Blackbox, The Grime Show, Sian Anderson Show and many more. With a long list of achievements in their personal careers and as a group they continue to travel further across the country and Europe taking any opportunity possible to shell down raves and events.

Charley has been performing from a young age, and has performed in musicals and modern singing  theatre productions in venues such as Sadlers Wells and Her Majesty's Theatre, as well as having experience performing at local gigs as part of a girl group, bands, and solo work.
Charley also has a great passion for acting, enjoys comedy sketches, and has featured in Reality TV shows, adverts, music videos, and extra/featured work.

@elise-smidt-685516914 and @The-Real-Darnell both found fame (one as a high fashion model, the other in reality tv show Big Brother) before finding each other at a London basketball club.  Now they meet up weekly to do what makes them happiest: have long philosophical conversations and write songs.

I have an insatiable obsession with music.

My passion runs deep with influences stemming from both an American upbringing and British roots.
