Stoked to present you with my set from Hyperbole/Octopus Garden on burn night this year. This mix is jam packed with unreleased tunes from my new 14-track full length album, The World That You Know, which is extremely close to fruition, and a couple remixes of a couple good dudes @Sixis-3 and @Bogtrotter. The other talented collaborators featured on this 45 minute psychedelic excursion are @wassuop @resonantlanguage @WALA and @CelloJoe. Hope you enjoy the music as much as I did making it and playing it while the lighthouses burned this year!

Greetings! Big gratitude to The Rust for hosting Featherbed Sessions, and to Actualize for throwing down visuals to this set for the livestream! Shout out to 5AM for inviting me to throw down a set! For the 37th edition of Rusted Rhythms, we have the honor of presenting a chilled-out mix of dela Moon’s finest blends and selections. Through the venerable role as an organizer of the Moontribe Collective, and a personal history stretching back through the recent decades of electronic music, dela’s touch behind the decks is as recognizable as it is infectious, and she left none of her talent on reserve for this dive through low-end psychedelia. 

Brandishing her honed-in understanding of key, mode, and tempo, dela successfully crafts a narrative journey from beginning to end, featuring the craftsmanship of producers like Somatoast, Kursa, DRRTYWULVZ, Futexture, and a host of other like-minded artisans. Clocking in at an hour and eight minutes, it’s a full course meal with dessert included, but we’d expect nothing less from one of the vanguard purveyors of sound system music and culture. Be it through extreme variance in vibe, or zeroing in on a specific spectrum, dela Moon’s indelible ability to portray evolving sonic stories is the permanent mark of her career as a precision selector and curator, and Rusted Rhythms Vol. 37 lives up to her every benchmark.
