I tend to turn to mini electronic ambient edm with old audio from where ever  I can find them. I think of these as intrusive thoughts with a touch of thought stops. Simply another facet in my exploration of music and myself as a musician.  This seems like a good place to keep them stored, as well to share.

The Affectionates emerged from the gritty Durham, NC USA house party scene as a new original indie rock band early in 2014, The Affectionates sound is a kaleidoscope of of lo-fi, guitar pop, electronica, and folk. Buoying a line between Townes Van Zandt-esque lyrical weight and The Pixies exuberance, the band describes their music as a big loud fun wall of articulate sounds and discrete melodies. In May 2016, The Affectionates along with their label 10 Foot Woody Records released a five song EP titled What To Build, Who To Destroy. A full length follow up is expected in 2017.
